    We are looking for someone who is interested in filling an ABA-SW position starting in September 2016 in Katzie Elementary School. Our son will be entering Grade 3. He has been in a home ABA program for almost 5 years, and has an involved and supportive family. BCBA consultant support is provided by Lindsay Parrott and Dr. Sara White. Training will begin as soon as possible both in the home and school setting.     We are looking for a dedicated, reliable, energetic and playful ABA Behaviour Interventionist in the Surrey/Cloverdale area. Our 8 year old son has autism and participates in one to one home schooling sessions in our home. He is a fun little boy with a great sense of humour. We are looking for someone to run 3 hour sessions three days a week and 5 hour sessions two days a week starting in September 2016. Session times are flexible, however, he also has some after school time sessions with his current BI. Sessions will mainly involve leisure and life skills programming and community outings with some academic programming. A valid driver’s license is required, however, ABA experience is not and training will be provided under our BCBA consultant, Lindsay Parrott.

    Applicants must:
    – be responsible
    – be at least 19 years old
    – have a clear criminal record check
    – make a minimum 10 month commitment

    Respite position available

    We are looking for a dedicated, reliable, energetic, and motivated individual to provide respite for our 12 year old son one or two days per week for 3-4 hours each day (Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday). We are located in Langley near Willowbrook Mall. Times would ideally be after 2pm, however, this is flexible. This position requires the candidate to implement the child’s behaviour support plan during respite hours, which take place in the child’s home. All training will be provided by our board certified behavior consultant, Lindsay Parrott.

    Qualifications:
    *Previous experience in ABA therapy
    *Previous experience working with individuals with autism
    *Able to work independently, as part of a team, & open to feedback
    *Clear criminal record
    *Reliable transportation

This student is currently in Grade 1 and has full-time coverage. He will be entering Grade 2 in September and will continue to receive full-time coverage.
