    Well Avery,

You got me tears. You helped remind me of where we came from years ago and the way things are now. (remember our first consultant?!) This whole experience we embarked on 6 years ago has helped me to feel blessed that we have such a powerful organization that CAN move mountains when we stick together.

Bradley turned 10 in August as well. (actually when we were in BC for a visit) He met up with old friends, we went go carting and had a blast. He too blew out his own candles and was singing happy birthday with his friends.

What a life we lead with our children but I wouldn't trade it for anything. All I need here in Ontario, is a clone of Sabrina and I would be doing ok.

Be very, very blessed y'all live in the same Province with such a force as Sabrina and Jean (the dream team) because here in Ontario I have had nothing but an uphill battle for services I already had for years in BC.

I will be making a trip to Ottawa in the spring…hope to see ya there Avery.

One person I want to give kudos to is Shelley Davis. She has helped too many families to count and therapists become who they are today. SHE'S THE BEST!

Thanks again Avery, you brightened up my day!

    Take care

    Hello

My laminator (also from staples) is a cold laminator made by 3M. You purchase cartidges of 100feet (I believe). I just put in my material, roll it through then slice it at the end.

    Hi

Just wanted to add my 2 cents…

All the websites are great!! There was a few I did not have. One website I like is:
    http://www.learningpage.com Lots of good stuff.

Re: Picture This Cd. I prefer the Picture This Pro version as it has more for your money.

I agree with having a digital camera, especially if you are just starting out. My camera is still going non stop and I don't know what I did without it.

    Take care

    To misinformed uneducated Anon.

I feel very sorry for you.

I recommend you to open a book and educate yourself on what is effective treatment for children with autism.

Please don't make fun of therapists because they are the ones that the children come home to after school for their REAL educaton. (in my case my school was an expensive babysitter)

You are probably very young and new to the field so I understand your ignorance but try and make sure you make an educated assumption rather than running off about something you have obviously never been involved in.

I urge you to go see a program and work as a therapist for awhile, then you may have a different view about what is so desperately needed for these kids.

I find the people that critisize are the people that know nothing about what we do nor are they interested in better educating themselves. (which is ironic considering they are in the education field)

I have a question for Rachel Russell or anyone else that might be able to answer. Re: Melatonin.

As kids get older, I had read somewhere that you do not have to increase the dosage of melatonin they receive each night. Do you know if this is true?

    Thanks Michelle
