To Mariah, is really a shame that our children that any child really have to go through what your child went through specially a child who can not defend himself.

I think have I been in your shoes I would still be raising hell, via news papers , TV or other channels , talk to people who would listen and scream to the ones that would not listen.

Local news papers tent to be more willing to listen specially a story of such controversy , I know it sounds terrible , but this type of incidents are great for the papers , because of the content.

I can not begin to understand how you must feel, but try to keep going ,as parents with a child with a disability there are many battles we will encounter some we will win and some we will loose, but boy we must fight them all , for our children and their right at a better life.

Este mensaje es dirigido a Diana Sabbagh, mi nombre es jenny como tu nina. Yo tengo un hijo con autismo el tiene 3anos y acabamos de empezar el programa de ABA.

Tambien tengo otro hijo que tiene 20 meses y me preocupa que talvez tambien tenga autismo, su nombre es Simon y el dice varias palabras , pero yo le he notado varios comportamientos que me preocupan. Espero en el ano nuevo llevarlo al Dr y ya veremos que pasa.

Bueno espero que alla pasado una muy feliz navidad y espero que el ano que vamos a empezar nos brinde muchas bendiciones y tambien funding.

Hello , this in regarding the message posted on the 11th about getting the MMR vaccine separated in 3 doses.
I talked to my Doctor who send us to the health unit , theysaid that it can not be done separate because they come in a package of 10 and if no body else is interested in doing this way they loose the other 9 .

I was told that we may be able to purchase them directly from a drugstore such as London drugs or shoppers , but we have not yet check it out .

Sorry I don't have more possitive information , but I hope this help.

Hola Diana Sabbagh, mi nombre es Jenny como tu nina, yo tambien tengo un nino con autismo , el tiene 3 anos. Acabamos de empezar el programa de ABA, nuestra consultant es Bodhana de EAP .
Por ahora estamos como la mayoria de padres tratando que nos ven individualized funding, pero nada de resultados.

No se si usted sabe acerca de el dinero que estan dando a ninos estre las edades de 4 1/2 y 6 anos, es lo que llaman "transition money", para preparar a los ninos antes de que empiezen el kinder.

Tambien por medio de el Health Unit hay un programa que se llama "the at home program", uno tiene la opcion de escoger entre cuidado medico o respite, si uno escoge respite le dan $200 dolares por mes y uno los puede usar para pagar nineras, pero muchas familias lo usan para pagar ABA programs sin que el Health Unit se de cuenta.

Nosotros estamos muy interesados en formar una associacion para poder pedir ayuda al govierno en la forma de grants, y tambien para poder pedirle ayuda a otras organizaciones como United Way, Variery Club , Lions or Royal Canadian Legion, asi podriamos ayudarnos y ayudar a otras familias que esten en la misma situacion.

Por ahora lo que estamos tratando de hacer es de encontrar a unas pocos seleccionadas familias que enten interesadas en formar esta sociedad y que esten dispuestos a pertenecer a un "Board", como voluntarios .

Bueno me despido espero , que nos mantegamos en contacto, yo vivo en Maple Ridge, talvez hasta nos podriamos conocer o salir a tomarnos un cafe.

I just want to clarify , regarding meeting with MLA Kent Stewart in Maple Ridge.

Hello my name is Jenny and I have a 3 year old son diagnosed with autism . Like every body else we are also trying to get funding for our ABA program.

I have been in contact with our local MLA in Maple Ridge and he is open for a metting on November 29th . I think that if we come together as a group we may have a better chance than if we approach as individuals.
We are also trying to have Linda Reid at the meetting since she will be in Richmond the following day.
