We are looking for a BI to work with our wonderful 3 year old boy in Cloverdale. We are looking for an individual who knows how to have fun with kids, take instruction while teaching and can easily multi task. An ability to play and be creative is a must and experience working as a therapist for a minimum of one year is required.

We are looking for someone for Wednesdays from 2 to 4 pm. You will also be needed to attend bi-weekly team meetings at our home. There are usually opportunities for extra sessions every month, if you are interested.

A preschool aide is required for our son starting September 2010 in Cloverdale. Our son is diagnosed with autism and is under an ABA therapy program. The hours are 9:00 am to 11:30 am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. In addition, the aide is required to attend bi-weekly team meetings at our home.

Previous experience at a similar position is an asset, but not essential. Those who have completed an Special Education Assistant program are encouraged to apply. Preschool aide will be trained at our home and is required to follow the guidelines of our behaviour consultant. Training will be provided prior to to start of preschool during the Summer.

We require the candidate to provide a current and clear criminal record. Commitment for the full school year (Sep '10 to Jun '11) is essential.
