Anyone interested to help their child swallow tablets or pills…….a new product for them.
see this link:
Hope that helps. Only $12.00 US and looks really good. I may get one for my son and if it works I will be posting again.
We are getting it to help him swallow dietary supplements such as vitamins, etc.
Any advice or success with any of your children?
September 16, 2007 at 12:20 am #392Todd DeaParticipantNorth Vancouver family looking for input with regard to consultants.
Our almost 3 year old (2 years 10 months) son has started the process (has two of the three needed clinician letters) but has not as of yet received an official diagnosis of autism. The last step is our Psych assessment which is not until the end of this month.
In an effort to be as pro-active as possible while waiting for our next appointment, we would like to ask for any and all input (from parents, relatives, professionals and anyone else with an opinion :-) etc.) as to who the "great" consultants in the lower mainland are, regardless of whether or not they are currently accepting new clients. At this point we are open to exploring any and all philosophies or program styles.
We would also love to hear about any consultants that may not be so good.
Of particular interest would be to hear about consultants that are known to be currently working with families on the North Shore.
please contact us at onedea@shaw.ca
Thank you

Hi Nancy,
I know one of the clinic in Burnaby, but I forget the name. They only
charge $50.00 handling charge and the rest of the money will be
covered by MSP if you are under the health kid program. I can give you
the name after April 14 cause I am out of the town right now. Please
give me your email address so that I can send you a message.August 31, 2007 at 7:16 pm #396Deleted UserMemberHello Heather Burke
I just read your message and realized your doctor is the same one as mine. I am the one that posted the info on getting your family doctor to refer you to a pediatrician and from there he can diagnose your child for ASD (6 years and older of course).
How old is your child and was your experience straight forward?
My pediatrician is also Dr. deLevie and my son was diagnosed July 25, 2007. Wow….nice to know that Dr. deLevie helps people everyday. for anyone interested you can ask your family doctor to refer you to him. His office number is 604-266-1874.
Take care.
