Does anyone have a Fax number and/or email address for the ABLE clinic. I need to send them some info today and can't get through to them on the phone.
Thanks
Carol

About a month ago Lara Gregory posted an ad looking for families to work with in Victoria. I am an "ABA mom" trying to get in touch with Ms. Gregory with little success. If anyone out there knows Ms. Gregory and/or her whereabouts, I would appreciate if you could please contact me.Thanks,
Franca

I was also told that there were a great many of our Government service providers at the extra meeting trying to protect their pocket books.
On a lighter note, I was thrilled to see that the ASBC will now be representing ALL of our children. I would like to echo Sabrina in her suggestion that we now should join, volunteer and contribute to the ASBC. I would like to asked our FEAT members to contact me with their names, addresses, telephone numbers and emails so that I may keep you all up to date on future developements and compile an up-to-date list of our membership.
(If you are aware of any members who do not have an email address, please have them 'phone me at 604-531-1846)
Looking forward to hearing from you all,Debra Antifaev

If it is not possible to observe a session, could you call me to describe a typical therapy session? Thanks. My contact is 604-2720078 or email me at elainegee@shaw.ca.

In regards to the discussion surrounding MMR, I have am excellent website to point interested people towards. The British Medical Journal Online is a wealth of information. It's editorials are interesting and easy to read. There are in-depth full-length texts for anyone to peruse. A healthy debate is also shown, as most to the articles have responses posted, and all articles are peer-reviewed.
The address is http://www.bmj.com
Interestingly, you do have to watch the credentials of some who post responses. The guy who is an accupuncturist holds less medical knowledge than a GP in my book!

August 12, 2002 at 10:32 pm #4553Sharon BaxterParticipantI wanted to respond to the post regarding the link between autism and MMR. I just completed a paper in which I researched both sides of the argument. I could find almost no research in peer reviewed journals supporting the claim that there is a causal link. However, I was able to find a large body of evidence, in peer reviewed journals, against the claim that there is a link. If you are interested I found good information by going to webcrawler.com, health, child health and searching MMR and autism. The CDC (Center for Disease Control) website also has a good fact sheet on this issue. If you want to look for scientific journals search psycinfo and medline.
