Dear parents:
We are thinking to take the boy to try Toboggan this year. He is not ready for the real one, yet. We only need a slope or hill to do so.
Which place you will recommend?
Cypress Mountain
Mount Seymour
Grouse Mountain
Or some place else. Thanks a lot.

Participant Kristin Grandner said this about module "Behavioral Treatment of Autistic Children: Ivar Lovaas" (1988) In Historical Perspective":
"I live and work in the UK, where CEUs are harder to come by, so this way of achieving them was excellent for me. The topics covered were very relevant to my career, and a very good refresher of the research that supports the work that I do on a daily basis. I hope you create more of these modules!"

I would like to know what I can do help parents fight
for the right of our children to receive science-based treatment covered under medicare.Let me know please what I can do to help
I also have a question about fundraising.
I would appreciate any fundraising ideas that might be useful. Could anyone share how to do fundraising with the help of a church or an organization? What resources are available to help me learn more on how to fundraise for an ABA program?
We are in a pretty desperate situation and willing to do what it takes in order to stay in BC and keep fighting…
All ideas will be greately appreciated.
Love,
AlexandraNovember 25, 2006 at 6:25 am #4849Mike & Rachel GoetzParticipantHi Tony
I think the wait time at the ABLE clinic depends on who you see. Glen Davies is the most well know person there I think, and his wait times are also really long (when I called back in the summer he was booking into January!). We had our daughter reassessed by Ron Schmidt (at ABLE) last month and we were very happy with his service, and he has shorter wait times. So you might want to ask about the various practitioners there and compare their waitlists.

November 24, 2006 at 7:15 pm #4850Super DadParticipantDear Parents,
Thank you for all your advice regarding dentists. I have another question:
Where do your kids do have their intelligence and language testing?
I know the ABLE clinic does a good job, but it seems like they are completely booked until the next millenium.
Thank you very much!
Tony
