We are looking to establish a team of 2-3 behavioural interventionists to work with a 4.5 year old child diagnosed with autism in the Burnaby/Metrotown area.

Applicants should be fun, energetic, patient, kind, self-directed, and punctual. They should be at least 19 years of age, have strong communication, play and organizational skills. Prior experience with running ABA sessions/ABA theory training, collecting data using various methods and having personal reinforcers are assets, but not required.

Applicants must be able to commit to a monthly team meeting in addition to their regular sessions.

Sessions ideally would take place in the afternoon from 12:45 onward, although morning sessions would be possibly considered for the right applicant. Days and times are flexible. Sessions will be approximately 2-2.5 hours long.

The behavioural interventionists will work under the supervision and guidance of Shawna Poznikoff (BCBA) and Dr. Sara White (BCBA).

You will receive initial and ongoing training and supervision from a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and will be teaching the child communication skills, functional play and fine and gross motor skills using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis.

This student is going to Kindergarten in Sept and we are looking for someone to start doing home ABA sessions now and then transition with him to Kindergarten in Sept in the Surrey School District for full time hours. You will have to apply for the school district (or already be employed by them)

In September, responsibilities will be supporting the student in his school environment, and continuing at least 1 session/week at home after school (could be more). We are looking for a reliable, caring and enthusiastic Behaviour Interventionist to work at our home in North Vancouver (Seymour area, close to Capilano University) with our 5-year-old boy diagnosed with ASD. Training would be provided by a board certified Behaviour Consultant, and program focus will be on communication, play & leisure skills, academic literacy and self-help skills.

Training will take place in June, and the ABA sessions will begin in late July. Salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and performance.

We are looking for 1-2 Behaviour Interventionists to join an ABA team for a fun, social girl in Grade 3. While your primary role will involve providing home-based intervention and homework support, there may also be occasional outings to gymnastics, swimming etc.; therefore, a valid driver’s license is required.

We would like someone that has a genuine interest in kids, ideally with experience in ABA and Autism. Sessions will take place during after-school hours two days/week and will last 2 to 2.5 hours.  This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in becoming an ABA SW, or SEAs looking for after-school employment. Grade 11 and 12 students can also apply. We are searching for someone energetic, silly, fun, animated and reliable who is able to commit for 1 year. You will be working with a fun, sweet and energetic two year old boy who loves to play. We run an ABA home program that involves a lot of play and physical activity.
