I’m looking for a babysitter/ respite person to come to my home for my two children who are both on the autism spectrum. My children (a boy and a girl)are 8 and 9 and are very verbal, fun, curious and happy. They love to do crafts , play video games and anything social. They both have sweet dispositions and love to learn new things ! some experience working with children with autism is an asset but not required . We live in Coquitlam in eagle ridge. Your main job function would be to provide one-on-one support for our high functioning autistic daughter who is currently in Grade 2 . There may also be occasional outings to gymnastics, swimming etc.; therefore a valid driver’s licence is required.We would like someone that has a genuine interest in kids, ideally with experience in ABA and Autism.
As she is in Grade 2, we only have after school shifts available 2 to 2.5 hrs, 2-3 days/week. This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in becoming an ABA SW or SEAs looking for after-work employment. Grade 11 and 12 students can also apply. All training will be provided by our BCBA consultant, Sarah Pastrana.Qualifications:
* Previous experience in ABA therapy (not imperative)
* Able to work independently, as part of a team, to be open to feedback

We are looking for a SBI and BI to join our home team. Our son is 4 years old and is currently in preschool. He is on the Autism Spectrum and is high-functioning. He also has a speech delay. He is sweet, loveable and eager to learn through play. He is a visual and quick learner and responds well to outgoing and fun people!
Our ask is that the candidate come to our home in North Delta, 2-3 times a week for 1.5 to 2.5 hours (depending on hourly wage, it may be more or less). We are quite flexible in days, with the exception of Mondays and can plan for morning or afternoon meetings. We are also looking to have our BI visit our son’s preschool and assist and implement our methods and lessons in that environment. The candidate must be flexible, have experience with children with autism, experience with ABA a plus but not required, able to work efficiently and well on their own. Being proactive is an asset too! Attendance of all team meetings are required, once a month. Please have a criminal record check available. Must be 19 years old or older. Wage will be determined based on qualifications and experience and the candidate must be willing to commit for 12 months.
Our goals for our son include working on social skills, conversation, play skills, academics & teaching appropriate/expected behaviour.
