Louise has been running a home based ABA program for her son since May 2006. Both new and experienced parents will be in attendance to discuss setting up and running a home based ABA program. First steps after a diagnosis. Securing your funding contract and organizing administration for a home based program.
Setting up your ABA team. Advertising and recruiting.
Planning for the future.

Great news!!! We have an opening for an experienced ABA therapist who is fun, engaging and energetic to join our 4 year old son's in-home ABA program in Richmond. He is a fun, social, little guy who is verbal, loves people and learns fast! Our program has been in place for over a year and a half and is under the supervision of our Behavioral Consultant, Michele Shilvock and Harmony House. If you love kids, have great play skills, are responsible and dependable and can commit to 5-10 hours per week, then please join our team.
You will work one-on-one with our son with a focus on peer play facilitation and advanced social skills including material from Michelle Garcia Winner. Therapy will take place both in our house and in the local community.
All training will be provided on site with ongoing monthly supervision. This is a great opportunity for applicants who welcome frequent overlaps and opportunities to further develop their skills. You must be at least 19 years old and have a criminal record check completed prior to starting.
We would prefer experienced applicants, but will accept inexperienced applicants, and will pay appropriately.

We are looking for an ABA tutor to work with our son Noah who is almost 3 years old. He was diagnosed at 2 years old and has been doing ABA therapy for eight months now. He loves doing his work and loves to laugh. We have a very skilled team lead by Behaviour Consultant Sharon Baxter & Junior Consultant, Tyla Frewing.
We require the Candidate to be 19 years of age with a clear criminal record check. Experience implementing Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) curricula would be fantastic, but is not essential as all training will be provided.
What is important is a desire to work with and improve the lives of special needs children. This position would suit people with an interest in Behavioural Psychology, special education, or speech/language pathology.
We have 2, 3 hour morning shifts available, that can be done between 8am-12pm. Plus a 2/2 hour team meetings a month that you would need to attend…

* Provide 1:1 behaviorally based treatment to a young child with autism.
* Work in the home and possibly community settings.
* Implement a structured curriculum designed by a qualified consultant to teach language, social, play, academic and self help skills.
* Train with a Senior Therapist under the direction of Dr Sara White and intern Colby Anderson
* Receive ongoing training opportunities and attend supervision meetings for the child.Job Requirements:
* Ideal candidates will be a junior or senior in a related field such as Psychology, ABA, Child Development, etc�

Our family is looking for high-energy, quick-thinking tutors to work with our bright, energetic and adorable boys in Cloverdale.
Previous experience working with children with Autism would be super but not essential. Individuals with a keen interest in education, psychology or speech therapy are welcome to apply.
Our mainly home-based programme will also provide opportunities to accompany our boys to Harmony House in South Surrey, where they attend a home school club twice a week.
You will need to bring your positive attitude, enthusiasm and strong play skills to our sons programmes. A desire to make a real difference in our boys lives is essential.
Reliability and dependability are necessary for a commitment of two or more, two-hour shifts per week as well as a monthly team meeting.
Competitive pay will be offered commensurate with experience.
A criminal record check will be required before work commences.
