Our team is supervised by Sharon Baxter, Tyla Frewing & Dr.Richard M. Foxx.
Minimum 2 years post-secondary education in ABA, Psychology, Special Ed., or related field. Prefer experience but open to folks with the right educational and/or work background. Good communication & team work skills are essential, as are a clean Crim. & driving record.
Various times a minimum of 2, 4-hour shifts per week. Mostly weekend and leave replacements to start, leading to more hours in the Fall. You will work under the aegis of a local non-profit ASD services society, but will answer to the Senior Therapist & behaviour consultants. Mandatory team meetings (paid) once per month.
A large (6 ft. +, 175 lb.) 16 year-old male, moderate to severe on the ASD spectrum. A charming, affectionate young man, but with serious challenges incl. aggression (staff & strangers), impulsivity, street safety, toileting, etc. This job suits male workers for this reason but females welcome to apply. You must be fit & fearless.
This is a long-term position, suitable for those looking to make a career in this field. You will be expected to make a minimum year-long commitment and assist in the transition of the client into a therapeutic residence based on ABA/'best practices'.

We are seeking an ABA therapist to work with our daughter who will be entering grade 5. She is verbal, smart and loves to learn and have fun.
We prefer someone who has experience with working with older kids in an ABA program but will train. Each session is three hours in length and we require at least 2 sessions a week or on the weekend.
Our consultant is Gabrielle Stigant and Michele Shivlock from Harmony House.

We have an opening for an experienced ABA therapist who is fun, engaging and energetic to join our 4 year old son's in-home ABA program in Richmond! He is a fun, social, little guy who is verbal, loves people and learns fast! Our program has been in place for two years and is under the supervision of our Behavioral Consultant, Michele Shilvock and Harmony House. If you love kids, have great play skills, are responsible and dependable and can commit to 5-10 hours per week, then please join our team.
You will work one-on-one with our son with a focus on peer play facilitation and advanced social skills including material from Michelle Garcia Winner. Therapy will take place both in our house and in the local community.
All training will be provided on site with ongoing monthly supervision. This is a great opportunity for applicants who welcome frequent overlaps and opportunities to further develop their skills. You must be at least 19 years old and have a criminal record check completed prior to starting.

An experienced ABA therapist is needed for our happy, bright and energetic 6.5 year old boy. He is very high functioning and is a quick learner with a good sense of humour. He is very outgoing and sociable.
Ideally, the candidate will have experience facilitating peer play and teaching social skills. Shifts will be after school 2:45 to 6:15 two to three times per week beginning in September. Training would commence as soon as possible.
Our intern consultant is Gabrielle Stignant under the direction of Michele Shilvock who is a local consultant. She will provide ongoing supervision and training, so this would be a great opportunity for applicants who welcome frequent overlaps and opportunities to further develop their skills. The program is based on the Lovaas method of positive reinforcement.
Wage will depend on skills and experience.
