April 13, 2011 at 9:47 pm #7709Liana MaioneParticipantI am posting on behalf of a family:
LEAD THERAPIST WANTED
We are looking for an experienced Lead therapist to join our skilled and dedicated team, working with an adorable three-year-old boy in Surrey who is making great gains in his program. He loves to sing, loves to read and loves to play!
We are looking for someone to take on a Co-Lead position in June (starting on the team, as soon as possible), leading to the Lead position for the team by the end of the year. Responsibilities will include: running 1:1 sessions, regular overlaps and feedback for other instructors, data book management, program changes and regular communication and collaboration with Behaviour Consultant, Liana Maione, BCBA.
Our Behaviour Consultant provides weekly supervision. Training would also be provided by our current Lead therapists. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to receive regular feedback and to develop their skills even further.
Pay is commensurate with experience and previous Lead experience is highly valued. You must have time to work three sessions per week, attend bi-weekly team meetings, perform regular administrative duties and schedule at least 2 3 overlap sessions with other instructors per month. We also require a commitment of AT LEAST ONE YEAR.
Please reply to lianamaione@telus.net with a description of your experience and resume. Thank you!
April 12, 2011 at 2:10 pm #7710Stella HsiungParticipantHi my name is Mei. I enjoy working with children with special needs and have three years experience working with children aged 3-11 with autism and other disabilities. I have had some great success supporting young children in developing positive behaviour and increasing verbal behaviour and find it very rewarding to play a role in their progress. I am especially interested in working with younger children in K, grades 1 and 2. I have completed both the SEA certification as well as the ABA certificate program. If you are looking for a caring, ABA worker who can help your child feel comfortable in the classroom, please give me a call. 778-855-6261
