    Hi all,

    Here is a quick question:
What is the definition of a non-verbal or verbal kid? Or how can I tell a kid is “verbal” (not non-verbal anymore).

I have heard some comments that if a child is non-verbal when entering school system, it will be more difficult to become verbal. I think one of the key reasons is the school system is using more SLP approach than ABA.

    Thanks a lot.

    Dear parents:

My boy is almost 6. In other words, the funding is going to be cut down pretty soon…
I will really appreciate any sharing and tips of managing an after 6 years old team effectively.

    Thanks a lot.

    Dear all,

I have been informed that the school received the funding for my boy after the funding appeal process.

    Lesson learned:
If you are thinking independent schools for your kid, you should prepare “recent” assessment(s) from professionals (such as Behavior Consultant, SLP, OT, etc).

I hope all the parents don’t need to go through the worries and troubles of the appeal process.

    Cheers.

    Dear parents:

Our family is going take a round trip (Vancouver – Toronto) in the coming Spring break (March, 2008). I am doing the budgeting.

Should I order the tickets now or wait? Will airline have special promotion for that period?
I am thinking either WestJet or AirCanada.

    I appreciate any input.

    Thanks a lot.

    Dear all:

Just setup a discussion group. It is not as good as featbc.org chart room.

FEAT is the best place to get info about ABA and other useful information.

Feel free to post non-ABA related discussion there.

    Please contact “t g a l w a y s @ g m a i l . c o m”.

Tuesday morning between 9 to 12. (time can be pretty flexible)
Tuesday after 3:30 PM (time can be pretty flexible).

We are seeking someone 19 years or older, preferably a college or
university student who has had some experience in working with

fun, and able to play with little boys.

    Thanks for reading.
