Nancy WaltonParticipant
I forgot to mention that our consultant is Sharon Baxter. Our current team members have been with us from 3 to 7 years.
Experienced ABA Tutor needed in South Surrey for flexible hours on Friday or Saturday nights and/or Sunday day times.
Our son is 15 years old and has been in an ABA program since he was 2. He has a great sense of humour and loves to interact with people. He enjoys lots of physical activity including swimming, bike riding, running, weight lifting, skate boarding and rock climbing. Some outings will include going to playland or Extreme Air park.
Please send resume or email experiences to nwalton8021 at gmail dot com. Thanks,

Nancy WaltonParticipantMy daughter has a friend, Jemma, who is interested in getting into ABA. She has spent a lot of time around my son, who has autism and has the right kind of attitude and enthusiasm. She is 17 years old, is in grade 12 and lives in East White Rock.
I highly recommend her for any ABA team. If you would like to contact her, you can e-mail her at jemmahall96@yahoo.ca and she will send you her resume.
Nancy WaltonParticipantThis is Justine Wiklo, I'm Nancy's daughter.
I am looking to start on another ABA team this summer, to continue on into September in the White Rock/ South Surrey area.
I have three years of ABA experience on another team with an 8 year old boy. I run a full ABA session with a range of programs and outings, so I am familiar with almost all data. I also have my lifeguard and water safety instructor certification, so I can arrange swimming programs, which I currently do with my other family.
I am 17, I have my drivers licence and a car that I can use for sessions. I am available on most days of the week, I usually have one weekday and one weekend shift with my other family.
My email address is justinewiklo@gmail.comThanks!
JustineNancy WaltonParticipantHi Melissa,
Please post your e-mail address. It might increase responses to your post.Nancy WaltonParticipantHere is a little reminder of why we all do ABA. Thanks to Sabrina and Jean for bringing ABA to BC and thanks to Rick Ryan for bringing ABA Support Workers into the schools and thanks to all the therapists out there who work with our children. We parents are very blessed to have you.
This is a recording of my 14 year old son and his ABA Support Worker (careful, kleenex might be required). Happy New Year!!

Nancy WaltonParticipantIf you live in the Langley school district:
I would like to know if there is any desire to have a program in this district like the ABA Support Worker program in neighbouring Surrey. It appears that this might be a good time to talk with the district about it. Please e-mail Nancy at nancy@abasupportnetwork.com if you LIVE in the Langley district….even if your children do not attend school there, but you would like them to.
Nancy WaltonParticipantExperienced ABA therapist needed in White Rock.
Under the supervision of Sharon Baxter, one of BC's best consultants, you would be a member of a quality team providing treatment for a delightful 14 year old boy. You must be fun, but firm. Our son loves to rock climb, do long distance running, swim, ski and he plays drums and clarinet. Experience in any of those areas is an asset, or bring something new to his life.
We need someone Friday mornings and at least one weekend shift.
Please send resume to Nancy at nwalton8021@gmail.com.
Nancy WaltonParticipantHi Anne,
Ask the doctor for a referral to Dr. Melvin deLevi, a pediatrician in Oakridge mall. It doesn't usually take long to get in to see him. It's free and he'll spend an hour with the child to diagnose.
He recognizes ABA as the best treatment for ASD and will recommend it if he feels it's necessary.
Secondly, I recommend Dr. Glen Davies at ABLE clinic in N.Surrey or West Vancouver for an assessment (psych ed and the works). But you will have to pay for that.Nancy WaltonParticipantAlina, Feel free to contact me if you would like any more information. nwalton8021 (at) gmail dot com.
