Dear Parents

Our son will be attending Kindergarten this September and we are looking for a school for him. We live in Langley Willoughby area. 2 schools closest to us are R.C.Garnett and Langley Meadows.

If anyone has any experience with these schools regarding how their SEAs are, how flexible they are in accommodating needs of our kids, how open they are to include behaviour consultant's input or anything else that's important for us to know, we would be glad to hear.

Any advice you could give us on how best to deal with the Langley School Board is greatly appreciated.

We are looking to add a therapist to our 4 1/2 year old son's ABA team. The ABA program started 1 1/2 years ago and has been supervised by the consultants from Harmony House.

Should be available for at least 2 of the following shifts;
Saturday – any time
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays – anytime after 3.30PM

Previous ABA experience preferred, but not a must. Training will be provided.
Looking for someone who is reliable, committed and love working with kids.

We are looking for a behavioural interventionist (ABA therapist) for the home based ABA program of our 4 year old son with autism.

Previous experience working with children with Autism is preferred, but is not essential. Training will be provided by our consultants from Harmony House.

Applicants must be 19 years or older and should provide current and clear criminal record check. We expect you to make a 1 year commitment to at least 2 shifts per week and attend bi-weekly team meetings.

Available shifts are;
Tuesdays, Thursdays – any time
Mondays , Wednesdays – after 3 PM

Salary is negotiable and is based on previous experience and training.

Preschool Aide (SEA) required in Langley

A preschool aide is required for a 4 year old child diagnosed with Autism.

Duration: Sept 2010 to June 2011
Hours: Mon, Wed & Fri 9.00AM to 12.00AM

Preschool is located in Willoughby Heights, Langley.

Previous experience as an aide/SEA in school setting is an asset but not essential. Those who have completed a SETA program are encouraged to apply.

Preschool aide is required to:
– Provide one on one support in the preschool following the guidelines of the behaviour consultant
– Attend bi-weekly team meetings
– Receive training in the home setting during the summer before the start of the preschool
– Join the home ABA therapy team and be available for at least one shift per week

Applicants should be 19 years or older and should provide current and clear criminal record check. Commitment for the full school year is essential.

Salary is negotiable and will be based on previous experience.

Our consultant recommended "Watch Me Learn" video series for our 4 year old son. I'm aware that I can order these from the producers, but thought there may be a family willing to sell if they no longer use them.

We have an opening for an ABA therapist (tutor) who needs to be energetic, have excellent play skills and love working with children. Our cute and fun loving 3 year old son’s ABA program is supervised by Michele Shilvock, Gabrielle Stigant and the Harmony House.

We would prefer a person who has experience in ABA therapy. Inexperienced people can also apply and necessary training will be provided. You must provide at least 1 year commitment for 2 or more shifts per week.
