Family in South Surrey looking for new Therapist to join our Team

Our small, well established team has an opening for someone new! We have an opening to work with 1 and eventually, 2 boys with autism and with potential for a future lead position or to become a Support Worker in school.

We are lucky to be under the fantastic consultation of Dr. Sara White and Colby Anderson. We have a multidisciplinary team, so we also work in cooperation with our brilliant occupational therapist, Mary-Ann Fulks.

The boys have dynamic programs which include 1:1 ABA, occupational therapy, outings, and play dates. We are immediatly hireing for my older son's team. He is 8 years old, moderate on the spectrum, happy, giggly and loving. He has been in an ABA program for over 3 years.

We have a strong and creative team, so we are happy to train someone new, or to welcome someone with previous ABA experience.

SO, if you have weekend availability (must commit to at least 1 weekend day), are fun, motivated, active (love to go swimming, play in the snow, ice skating, go to parks etc.), have your own car, are organized and willing to commit to our team for at least a year, I would love to hear from you! We are looking for someone who wants to grow with ABA, who sees working with us as an opportunity to gain skills and to further themselves in their career of choice.

We live in South Surrey near 152nd and King George. 15 min from Cloverdale, 20-25 min from Langley, 20 min from Delta, just a drop down from anywhere in Surrey and minutes from White Rock.

Please contact me via email or phone.

    Hi Everyone,
I am looking for a good OT who works with ABA teams. We live in South Surrey and are hoping to find someone in our area or who is willing to travel. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have heard of Mary-Ann Faulks who works out of Delta and I am also wondering if anyone has any experience with her good or bad before I contact her. Thank you very much for any information.

    Thanks!
    Elaine

    Hi Everyone,
I am advising a family with a newly diagnosed son. I am making some reccomendations about consultants, but I can't seem to find a list of consultants and their contact info. I checked on ACTBC, but it seems it has changed and no longer has an inclusive list. Can anyone advise me on how to find a list of Consultants in BC?
    Thanks,
    Elaine

    Looking for more summer hours?

We are looking for an experienced therapist to join our strong and well established team for the summer with the possible option to continue in September. Our son is 7 years old, happy and fun to work with. We work under the excellent consultation of Dr. Sara White and Colby Anderson.

This would be a good option for a SW who wants to fill their summer. You need your own transportation and preferably one weekend day available.

Sessions run 7 days a week 8:45-11:45 and outings from 12:30 until 2:30ish.

We live in South Surrey right off of King George.

**************ABA THERAPIST NEEDED IN SOUTH SURREY********************

An enthusiastic and dedicated person is needed to work with our two son’s who are on the spectrum. Their programs include occupational therapy, community outings, and peer and sibling play.

We are looking for someone who is sensitive, fun, high energy and enthusiastic. Previous ABA experience and or knowledge of psychology would be an asset, but we are happy to provide training for the right person too.

You need your own transportation. Must have daytime and some weekend availability and because consistency is so important for children, you need to be able to commit to this job for a minimum of 1 year.
Because we would like to hire for both teams, we are able to offer 3 full days of work (6-7 hrs) to the right candidate. We would also be willing to offer flexibility with your schedule if you could only join one team.

We are centrally located near 152nd and King George Hwy, so it is a short drive from Langley, White Rock or Delta.
We are under the excellent consultation of Dr. Sara White and Colby Anderson who provide frequent overlaps and lots of feedback. Bi-weekly 1 1/2 hr team meetings are mandatory. Both boy's meetings are back to back, so for both teams this meeting would be 3 hrs.
