We are looking for a orthopedic Dr and a physiotherapist that can deal with children who have autism, or someone who is good with children. Our child has back pain, her feet roll inwards, and her knee gives out often. Does anybody know of someone?

This is a job posting for a full time ABA Support Worker in the Newton area for the Surrey School District, to work with a girl with autism. Our awesome ABA SW had to leave suddenly due to personal reasons. This position would be ideal for a behaviour interventionist who has 1000 hours (or close to) of ABA experience, that is interested in becoming an ABA SW. We have an wonderful behaviour consultant. Behaviour interventionist (ABA Therapist) is need to join our home based team for a fun-loving, energetic, and social 11 year old girl.
Sessions will run after school from Monday-Saturday. You must be able to commit to at least 2-3 sessions per week, as well as attend monthly team meetings. We also ask for at least a one year commitment.
The program consists of ABA-based methodologies to develop communication, academic, and social skills, including generalization of skills in the community. Previous working experience with children with Autism is preferred, but training will be provided. The home-based program is run under the supervision of Behaviour Consultant. Most important is that you are someone who is willing to learn and has a positive, fun, and energetic personality and are able to play with children.
This work is highly rewarding and excellent experience for students wishing to pursue a career in psychology, special education, speech & language pathology, and other related fields.
Qualifications:

„X Clear criminal record check.
„X A car with valid driver¡¦s licence

We are in need of a full-time ABA trained SW to work with our established home team, and the Surrey School District. Our daughter is entering Grade 4 in September and requires assistance in peer play and academics.
We have a Board Certified Behaviour Consultant and a team that will provide ongoing supervision and training, so this is an incredible opportunity for candidates to further develop their ABA skills and knowledge.

Applicants with ABA SW experience are preferred, but we will also consider individuals who have a keen interest in working as an ABA SW and are eventually willing to complete the ABA SW course.
