Seeking a behaviour interventionist for a home based ABA team in Coquitlam area. The team is leading by a BCBA behaviour consultant.
You need to be able to attend to preschool with our son, 4 days a week (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday) from 8:50am to 11:20am.
Our son is 4 and half years old, and has been diagnosed with ASD (Autism spectrum disorder). He is a very happy, sweet, active and easy to work with child who always has such a big and contagious smile on his face Although experience in the field is an asset, we will consider providing you with all the required training. This is an opportunity for those seeking experience in the field of psychology, education, and/or speech & language pathology. You will be supported and trained by a group of professionals that include a speech therapist, Occupational therapist, Board certified behaviour analyst.

Under the supervision of our behaviour analyst, your role will be to systematically and scientifically teach our son communication, social and behavioural skills. You are required to collect data throughout your one on one sessions and at a monthly team meeting discuss the progress of the programs with the team.

Requirements for this position are as follows:

-at least 19 years of age
-willing to commit to minimum a year
-strong play skills
-recent criminal record check
-fluent speaking English
-Provide 2 professional references

Pay is commensurate with experience.

Hi everyone,

We have an education plan from USC, for our son. we've got this plan for him, when he was just born. he's 4years old now and recently has been diagnosed with autism. we're hearing somethings about other families with same situation as us that their education plans have been canceled !!!! we're not sure if they (families) have decided to cancel it or it's been canceled from the education saving plans companies just because the child is autistic !!! does anyone have any experience about this topic? any help would be greatly appreciated.

my son is 3/5 and he's just been diagnosed for Autism I'm looking for a group daycare or preschool for him in Coquitlam.
