****LEAD THERAPIST AND LINE THERAPISTS NEEDED!****

We are looking for fun, energetic and responsible individuals to work with our 3 year old son with autism in Cloverdale. He is verbal, quick to learn and very loving. We are starting up our program and are looking for a Lead Therapist, as well as Line Therapists.

Our program is supervised by our Behavioral Consultant Liana Maione, who is a BCBA.

No experience is necessary for the Line Therapists. But you must be playful, organized and enthusiastic about helping our son! We will teach you about ABA therapy, where you will be playing with and teaching our son skills. You must be at least 19 years old and have a criminal record check completed prior to starting.

You will be working around 3 – 2 hour shifts per week to start. We also ask that you are able to make a 1 year commitment as we will be providing you with valuable training.

This is a great opportunity to get experience and training in ABA therapy, as well as experience working with kids.

Please contact Holly at hjkorgan@gmail.com if you are interested.

    Hello,
I'm trying to help a family from Italy who is considering a move to Canada. They have a little boy with autism who is 3 years old and are currently running an ABA program with out-of-country Behaviour Consultation. They have many questions, which I am not able to answer, about moving here. Are there any families out there who have immigrated to Canada and are currently running ABA program for a child under six, who may be able to offer some help?

Here are a few of their specific questions:
-Is it difficult to be accepted into the country as a permanent resident, with a child with autism?
-Could they apply as temporary workers?
-Would they be eligible for the government funding in either of these scenarios?

If you can help, please email me with information I can forward on. Or, email me and I will send you the family's direct email address (the Mom speaks/writes English well).

    Thank you!

    INFORMATION NEEDED

    Hello,

I am looking for information on how to go about getting the MMR (given at 12 months of age) separated into three doses. Someone I know has a child nearing their first birthday and is being told that they can't have the vaccine separated here. If anyone has any info on how one would go about getting the vaccine delivered in individual doses, I would greatly appreciate it. Please email lianaray@interchange.ubc.ca

    Thank you,
    Liana Maione
