    Hi All,

I'm posting on behalf of a family in Surrey.

My son, who is high functioning in ASD spectrum, would be moving on to secondary school next year. We live in Surrey, and I would like to ask of any stories or feedback that you would like to share regarding ABA supports in schools in Surrey/White Rock.
He has been having very successful intensive ABA therapy both at home, and at school with ABA support worker. We wish him to have the ABA support at secondary school continuously.
    Thank you!

    Pls share at hksaba@yahoo.ca

    Thank you!

    Hi,

A family in Surrey is looking for a BI for a teenage boy with autism.

The position involves helping him learn new skills including communication, self-regulation, community involvement etc. using an approach that is evidence-based, data driven, and behavior analytic; the program is being overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This young man lives at home with his family, and has some challenging behavior which is something we will be focusing on reducing while also increasing functional skills. His comprehensive program will be run during daytime hours. Teaching will include some discrete trial, learning during natural routines, functional life skills, leisure, community outings, physical exercise etc.

This is an excellent opportunity for those individuals who are looking for experience in teaching and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, or looking for experience in the field of Behavior Analysis. The young man that we are working with is an engaging individual with a variety of interests; shifts would involve a number of fun activities in addition to structured teaching components.

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities would be an asset, though is not required as intensive training will be provided. A one-year commitment is preferred, and a competitive wage is offered.

For those who are interested, please send resume to hksaba@yahoo.ca

    Thank you!

    Hi!
I'm posting on behalf of a family.

We have an unused iAdapter4 (colour: Grey) for sale for $300.
It is still in its original box with all the brochure, instruction, and the packing slip inside.
We purchased it last year through online for $358+tax+shipping.
It fits iPad2, iPad3, iPad4 (iPad with Retina Display), unfortunately, my son has an iPad Air. And with all the busy business going on with our lives, we missed the deadline of its return due date.

Please, refer to the link below for more info on the product.
    http://www.insightmediacentre.com/catalog/product_info.php/iadapter-p-1110

It was recommended by our Behaviour Consultant for our son to use. It has a shoulder strip so that he can carry it around easily, a speaker for the audio for communication, and a base that can support the iPad to be placed standing on a desk, not to mention the shell protecting the iPad.

For those who are interested, please contact hannerl_mom@yahoo.com

    Thank you!
