This week several parents from the Langley school district will be joining to discuss advocating to bring ABA services into their district.

I'm wondering if anyone has had luck getting funding from supported child development (through the child development centre) in order to hire an ABA support worker from their home team for their child at preschool. I know that it's possible to do this and I was hoping someone would be able to tell me more about how they were able to do it.

We are looking for an experienced LEAD THERAPIST for our very bright and talkative three-year-old son in Cloverdale. He is very fun to be around and loving.

Responsibilities will include: helping us get our team up and going, training new therapists, running 1:1 sessions, regular overlaps and feedback for other therapists, data book management, and regular communication and collaboration with our Behaviour Consultant, who is a BCBA. Our Behaviour Consultant will provide frequent supervision and there will be lots of opportunity to develop Lead Therapist skills.

********Lead Therapist Wanted*******

We are looking for an experienced LEAD THERAPIST to guide our new team for our very bright and talkative three-year-old son in Cloverdale who is waiting to get started and have fun!

Responsibilities will include: helping us get our team up and going, training new therapists, running 1:1 sessions, regular overlaps and feedback for other therapists, data book management, program changes and regular communication and collaboration with Behaviour Consultant, Liana Maione, BCBA.

Our Behaviour Consultant will provide frequent supervision and this is an excellent opportunity for someone to really fine tune their skills and work closely in collaboration with our Behaviour Consultant. There will be ample opportunity for growth and feedback and to develop Lead therapist skills.

Pay is commensurate with experience. You must have time to work three sessions per week, attend bi-weekly team meetings, perform regular administrative duties and schedule at least 2 – 3 overlap sessions with other therapists per month. We also require a commitment of at least one year.
