Hi everyone, I'm choosing from two high schools for my 13-year-old autistic son to go to this summer: Elgin Park Secondary and Semiahmoo Secondary. Both of them are in south Surrey. My son is high-functioning but has lots of inappropriate behaviours and lacks self-regulation. I think he may take the BASES and LST programs almost half and half. Does anybody know anything for those two schools? How well they run the BASES and LST programs? We are looking for a person who will work as a ABA worker in an elementary school in the fleetwood area surrey( which is on the bus routes) for a 10-year-old high-functioning autistic boy in Fall 2013. Meanwhile, this person must work as a BI in the home-based ABA team under supervision of the BCBA. Training will be provided on site. Sessions are 3-7 on weekdays and 9-1 and 3-7 on weekends. The ideal candidate:
> – Will be 19 years or older
> – has a great personality and enjoys working with special needs children
>-speaks fluent english
>-able to tutor grade 4 and up
>-has ABA experience
>- is able to take at least 2 shifts per week
>- is willing to make at least one year commitment
> – Is able to take feedback and apply it quickly
>-enjoy team work and attend mandatory monthly meeting
>- able to multitask

> – with the educational background of education, special education, speech and language or psychology or related.

> – speak fluent english
>-has ABA experience
>- is able to take at least 1-2 shifts per week
>- is willing to make at least one year commitment
> – Is able to take feedback and apply it quickly
>-enjoy team work and attend mandatory monthly meeting
>- able to multitask.
>-enjoy working with autistic kids

> – with the educational background of education, special education, speech and language or psychology or related
