We are looking for an ABA SW who has 1000 hours of ABA experience or close. We would you like to work as an ABA Support Worker in the Surrey School District next year on September as a full time from 9am to 3pm as well as to join our home ABA team to form a relationship and for the preparation for a full time school ABA SW position in next September.
You will be working with an autistic 7 year bright boy. Currently he is in the school with an excellent SEA as a full time student in grade 1. His SEA will be moving up next year and would like you fill the school position next year as an ABA SW.

I am looking for experience working with autistic kids as I need a certain amount of hours before I can be accepted into a BI program this coming January. I have volunteered at David Thompson Secondary working along side classroom support workers and in the developmental disabilities classroom. I am hoping to continue working once school is out in the summer. I am reliable, strong, a fast learner and extremely patient. Please email me if you know of any oppertunities.

Deleted UserMemberHi,
I am an ABA therapist with 4 years experience, a BSc in Psychology and I've just completed my MSc in ABA here in England.
In September I will be moving to Vancouver for a year with my husbands job. I am wondering if anyone can give me any help by telling me the average wage/salary I could expect to get in Vancouver. If you don't want to reply on here you can email me at gembraithwaite@aol.co.uk because I can't find any information out about this and it would really help us to budget for our year ahead if we knew what I could potentially earn.
Many thanks in advance,

Deleted UserMemberHas anyone had their School SLP sign for a Justification for Equipment form? My school SLP was told not to sign the form.
Deleted UserMemberPUT EVERY DETAIL IN WRITING> It is a simple but powerful legal action.
I have just resolved an issue with the school support for my autistic son. He also has a medical condition. The first six months of Kindergarten were a circus and a terrible strain on our family. Finally I took the simple legal action of writing a letter outlining my concerns and sharing it with the Principal, Jennifer Anderson the manager of SSA's in Vancouver, the health nurse, and Kathy Hasley the principal of special ed.
The simplest legal action is to put down your concerns in writing. This will get everyone's LEGAL ATTENTION.
