Cindy HungParticipant
Behaviour Interventionist Needed (ABA Therapy)
We are looking for reliable and kind individual to work with a 4 year old girl recently diagnosed with high functioning autism. Experience is preferred, but not mandatory. We are willing to train the right person if they are committed. Training is provided through our Behaviour Consultant Michelle Shivlock (BCBA).
Ideally the individual will transition into the role of ABA SW September 2016. This would require a total of 1000 ABA hours. For this position, we would highly prefer a long term commitment.
Successful candidates will be comfortable working independently, as well as having frequent overlaps. Team meetings and a clear criminal records check are mandatory.
Therapy will take place in the home in Langley (Willoughby). We are looking for 2 hour shifts on Monday and Tuesday after 1:30pm. There is the potential for more hours during the summer (anytime after 9:30am)
If you are interested, please send your resume, cover letter, and availability. We look forward to hearing from you!

I live in the Willoughby area of Langley and am looking into kindergarten/elementary schools for my two children with ASD. I would love to hear from some parents regarding their experiences with children on the spectrum and different schools, particularly in the Langley and Surrey area. We are considering the Surrey school district as we have heard it is easier to get an ABA SW. If anyone has had a similar experience and can share any advice on this process, I would really appreciate it! My email is amazingabateam@gmail.com Thank you!
