I'm looking for feedback and opinions of a couple or private Christian schools in Vancouver.

If anyone has comments to share on Vancouver Christian School or West Coast Christian School, please kindly email me at: tchiao@hotmail.com

Interested to hear about other parents' experience with both these schools, particularly with regards to doing ABA in the school, and hiring family Support Workers from the home team.

    Thanks in advance!

Dear Laurie: Thanks for your post. It arrived in my Inbox at the perfect time. Our son is almost 4 yrs old and we're going through all the challenges you mentioned. We have many bright days, but we are almost always in panic mode about our financial situation. I appreciate you taking the time to encourage all of us to 'keep on trekking'.
A BIG congratulations to your whole family for achieving an "N"!

I'm wondering which iPad apps parents would suggest for a non-verbal child with ASD. Our son is 3 yrs old and non-verbal. I've heard proloquo2go is a great app, but would appreciate advice on other useful apps for communication/vocabulary/speech development.

    Thank you!

If you have experience with Vancouver Christian School (VCS) and/or their application process, I would appreciate your feedback, advice and tips.

Any information with regards to the school's philosophy around autism treatments and ABA teaching in their school would also be helpful.

Our son is 3 years old and we are looking ahead to apply to VCS for his Kindergarten year.

    Dear Franca,
Thank you for your comments and encouragement.
Our son wouldn't be getting the help and support he needs if it weren't for the generation of parent advocates before us. I still have much to understand, but it gives me confidence to know I'm networking with and learning from the best. Thank you also for your friendship!

    Tina
