    Looking for a tutor to work with my very high functioning 15 year old son. We are currently running a program under the consultation of Dr Sara White and Rubina Mangat. The program is now run outside in the community, so any potential tutor will have to have a vehicle. The ideal candidate will have experience working with teens on social skills and anxiety with ABA training. We're looking for someone who is able to run 1 or 2 sessions at 1.5 hours each per week and attend all scheduled team meetings. Hourly wage will be based on level of experience and education. We are located in Newton near 146/73 Avenue, Surrey. Please indicate RC Program.     Location: Newton Area

    We are currently seeking a Behaviour Interventionist to join our home based team to work with our 13 year-old son with high functioning Autism and OCD. He is in grade 8.

    We are looking for somebody who is energetic, fun, responsible, mature, patient, and enthusiastic about working with a teenager. Some experience working with school age children with Autism is preferred but training will be provided by a Senior BI. Sessions will run after school or occasionally on the weekends. Must be able to commit to 1 or 2 sessions per week, as well as attend monthly team meetings. The program is run under the supervision of our Behaviour Consultant, Dr Sara White. This work is highly rewarding and excellent experience for students wishing to pursue a career in aba, psychology, special education, speech & language pathology, and other related fields.

    The program consists of ABA-based methodologies to develop appropriate communication, academic and social skills, including generalization of skills in the community.

    Requirements:

    • 19 years of age or older
    • Have a current Criminal Record Check
    • A car with a valid driver’s license
    • Provide 2 references
    • Fluent in English

    ABA SUPPORT WORKER NEEDED IN SURREY (NEWTON AREA)

    Experienced Therapist/Tutor to be trained for school ABA Support Worker in Surrey for a newly established home based program. Our consultant is Dr. Sara White.

    Have experience working with school age kids in an ABA program under the direction of a qualified consultant.
    Have a genuine interest in children and seeing them succeed.
    Be committed, positive, motivated, creative, energetic, honest, reliable and have good problem solving skills.

    Our son is almost 13 years old and is in Grade 7. He just started a home based program this past September. He is high functioning, funny, sweet, tries hard and wants to do well. We’re looking for an ABA therapist to join the home team first, and then work with our son at school as an ABA support worker.

    Pay based on experience and skills for the home program.
