    To Victor and Anne Silveira:
    Re: educational software
We had some success with the Winnie the Pooh Toddler program. They put the mouse on a balloon and it pops; very reinforcing and easy for the mouse. Available inexpensively at Costco.
Reader Rabbit has been popular with our autistic son as well. Also at Costco.
A little more expensive is My First Incredible Amazing Dictionary by DK. Available through Different Roads to Learning (1-800-853-1057 or http://www.difflearn.com ). That may be for later; it's entertaining and reinforcing for expanding vocabulary.

    Hello:
I was wondering if anyone is aware of any educational software that has been helpful for their children to work on the computer. Christian is able to direct the mouse but he is still in the process of learning how to click the mouse. He also needs to be strongly visually clued as his receptive language is poor. He would be at a basic level ie. matching.

RE: the upcoming FEAT BC workshop

As many of you know, there is an exciting workshop coming up on the 6th of October. This workshop is presented by five members of the highly regarded Wisconsin Early Autism Project.

I would like to remind everyone to sign up quickly because there are two breakout sessions, morning and afternoon. Each breakout session has a limited number of places. In order to ensure you are able to participate in the breakout sessions of your choice, it is important to get your registration form in as soon as possible … the workshop is in 2 1/2 weeks!

You can download a copy of the registration form at:

    Hey Avery!

Thanks for your reply! Could you call me when you get a chance? It's 604-913-3343.

And yes, I made a typo on the first ad. My correct e-mail address is on the 2nd posting (davidbridges@telus.com, not @home.com)

    Thanks again,
    Dave

I see you posted twice, Dave, so perhaps the second one was a typo, but as far as I am aware, Lisa Wincz has nothing to do with WEAP.

Can anyone let me know how to get ahold of Lisa Wincz from WEAP? Thanks.

Also – I need EXPERIENCED therapists for weekend shifts. $12/hr. and up, depending on exp. Car and driver's licence required. West Vancouver.

    Call 604-913-3343 or e-mail davidbridges @telus.com

We apologize for technical problems with FEAT’s Fax-on-demand server.
It cannot be used to receive faxed flyers for the upcoming FEAT BC behavioural intervention workshop at SFU.

The flyer and registration form are available on the FEAT web server: https://featbc.org/downloads/eaiw.pdf

    Thank you.
    Board. Admin.
