Hi Anna…
For flash cards, try Collins Educational Supplies. I think on Quebec St, off Marine Drive near Knight St bridge in South Vancouver/Burnaby. We haven't been there for while, so I'm not sure if they are still there. Our lead therapist makes great cards. She is thinking of putting some out at a table at the next FEAT workshop, so that may be an option for you as well.
For hair cuts, I do both my boys myself. For several *years* it was a nightmare for my older son, but he is 'somewhat' OK with it now. For the younger one, its still a nightmare, so I do it when he is asleep…

Hello Anna, and anyone else in similar straits…
Unfortunately, you don't mention where you are, but if you're on/near the north shore, there's 2 Cute 4 U on Bellevue in West Van…so that's for hair.
For flash cards, I'd try Staples — I've bought stuff like that there for both Ariel and our little TD wonder as well.
Good luck
Avery
I am looking for Alphabet flash cards. I tried Toy'r Us and Superstore already. please email me at annamc@telus.net.
thanks,
Anna (Henry's mom)
I am looking for a hair cut place for my 4 year old boy. A place like Beaners Fun Cut for Kids but unfortunately they are all out of business. Somebody who understands special needs children will be great. I am willing to go anywhere.
please email me at annamc@telus.net if you have any info.
thanks,
Anna (Henry's mom)
Hi Folks
I'm making available some software that I have built to help manage the ABA programs for our two sons. You can find out more about this at http://home.istar.ca/~gumnut/homeaba.html, including the reasons why I can't give it away for free, much as I would like to!
I'm hoping to have a little table at the FEAT workshop in Sept at SFU where I will be able to offer you better prices than on my website (no delivery required!).
For FEAT BC members, the pricing is $10 for a time limited trial CD and $40 for a registered copy, plus PST. An upgrade from the trial to a registered copy is $35 plus PST. (All Canadian dollars). If you just can't wait until the workshop, you can download a trial copy at no charge or send me an email and we will work something out!
Just trying to help!
Rob

Peggy:
Re a good book for to teach drawing ideas, check out London Drugs. They have a lot of good educational material for our kids, often pretty reasonably priced. Learning Horizons is the company that puts out a lot of these products. For drawing, try "Draw and Talk"- $3.25 canadian- It's supposedly for Pre-K to K, but I would have been happpy to have this book in 5th grade to improve my drawing
Cheers!!
I'm looking for a book that would help us to teach Dalton simple drawings. I have heard about 'Draw Write Now' but I think that company is from the US and wondering if there is anywhere locally to purchase a quality book that has simple drawings. Thanks.

Did anyone record the Bill Good show today?
I missed it, and can't get it over the web (my
connection is too slow). I would really like to
hear it, if someone has it.
Thanks
Carol
