Hi there. I heard at some point over the last two or three months that Catherine Maurice had recently written a new book which described some of the more recent challanges they had experienced with their kids' social skills etc. when they got older. However, when I tried finding it on the internet, nothing came up. Now I'm wondering if this was just a figment of my imagination. I know that she definately wrote some more "how to" type of books after LMHYV, but I had understood this most recent publication to be more of a "LMHYV – Part 2" kind of thing. Does anyone out there know if there really is such a book by her?
Thanks.

the same thing when my daughter turns one (next month). I would be very
interested in hearing about any response you receive on this issue and I'll
let you know what I hear back from my family doctor.Rachel Notley (Ethan and Sophie's mom)

Hello,
I am looking for information on how to go about getting the MMR (given at 12 months of age) separated into three doses. Someone I know has a child nearing their first birthday and is being told that they can't have the vaccine separated here. If anyone has any info on how one would go about getting the vaccine delivered in individual doses, I would greatly appreciate it. Please email lianaray@interchange.ubc.ca
Thank you,

Thanks, TarynDecember 5, 2001 at 7:17 am #5973Laurie GuerraParticipantHi everyone!
You won't want to miss this month's guest speaker. We finally have a consultant from W.E.A.P. named Michael Schimek who will be speaking at our next meeting, Tuesday December 11, 7:00pm at 6788 152nd Street, Surrey.
Micheal is now based out of Vancouver and the company is E.A.P. The Wisconsin Early Autism Project is a replication sight for the Lovaas studies done out of UCLA and the results that they have achieved in the last few years are truly amazing.
If you already have a home-based program, are interested in finding out about one, or just plain curious to know about ABA THERAPY please join us next Tuesday evening. Everyone welcome.
See Ya There,
Laurie Romey

There is a very interesting article about different causes of autism in this second placed of most visited Natural Health sites:

We would love to hear from other parents who fit into the whole KT(kindergarten transition)age group. We are always on the look out for new ideas..We would also like any info on oral motor input…our son is constantly pressing his mouth area and mouthing\chewing objects the traditional ideas are not working becuse he also eats an extremly limited amount of food.We can be reached at m&m@sno.net .
