Hi Dave,
Yup, it looks like my posts are returning too!
(I made 2 phone calls and sent numerous e-mails to Shaw.)Here's to hoping they don't give us any trouble again…

August 8, 2006 at 4:51 pm #4912Dave CollyerMember….from my end (after some lengthy phone conversations with Shaw Tech support and a few emails regarding the bounced mail and "trusted" ISP status) it appears that Shaw Cable has corrected the email "filter" that was preventing notification of FEAT posts… I am now (as of this morning) being updated as members post to the FEAT "chat board". Is this the case for other FEAT members who use Shaw email addresses?

July 27, 2006 at 6:52 pm #4914Sabrina FreemanParticipantTo All FEAT BC Chat Board Members:
If you are a Shaw customer or are contemplating becoming one, please be advised that Shaw is blocking chat board posts from FEATBC and bouncing them back. I have just spent four hours (2 â 2 hour sessions) trying to rectify this problem with Shaw. After each 2 hour session, they rectify the problem, only for it to re-occur again two weeks later. If you find yourself suddenly not receiving Chat Board posts, understand that the problem rests with your Shaw Internet provider.
In order to rectify this annoying problem, I would recommend trying another e-mail provider.
Thank you.
Sabrina

Michelle WeisJuly 20, 2006 at 7:09 pm #4917Okay I am looking into a suggestion from another FEAT'er. A more visual and "neutral" protest method that I think is great.
An Autism quilt. I have a design in mind that makes each block seperate and then we can button the quilt together as we add children. As parents you can either not submit anything, submit a digital photo that will get printed on fabric and made into a block, or a hand or foot print. (you can email me for some suggestions on how to do this). Also let me know If you want your childs first name on the block or not.
I just need some help. If you are a quilter or are interested in becoming one please email me.
July 19, 2006 at 8:29 pm #4918Mike & JeanParticipantThe Hewko trial resumes on Monday, July 24th at the B.C. Supreme Court, 800 Smithe St. Vancouver. For those who don't know, this case involves a school aged child whose ABA treatment professionals were barred from the school by the Abbotsford School District. This is an extremely important case to watch if your child is in an ABA program and about to enter, or is already in school.
We encourage parents, therapists and supporters to attend court. Court times: 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Check the trial lists on the main floor beside the court registry to find the courtroom number. Please enter the courtroom quietly and ensure all cellphones and pagers are turned off.July 19, 2006 at 8:29 pm #4919Mike & JeanParticipantThe Hewko trial resumes on Monday, July 24th at the B.C.
