Would Mr. Earl Friesen, or anyone who may have a current telephone number or address for him, please contact me, Maureen Lundell, at (604)895-2827. I have some important information for him.

How are you?
Our son is in an overage year of preschool right now. We do not qualify for support from the Child Development Center anymore but we do get some funding from the District and our school has been very open to allowing one of our home ABA therapists to support him at school.
I think at your stage if you want your own support person in there you will have to 1)find a preschool open to that and 2) pay for it yourself.
Email me if you want to discuss more.
Cheers,
Dione

Our preschool has just hired someone without ABA training rather than the candidate we chose, that already knows my child and works with him at home doing ABA.
We would like to resolve this issue and find out what the SCD policies are. Also, if anyone has had any experiences like mind and found a way to convince their preschool to go with their choice.
I am very dismayed at this situation – it is clear what is in my son's best interest. However, the preschool insists on choosing someone different.

January 16, 2008 at 5:40 am #5559Mike & JeanParticipantTo all members of the ASBC, FEAT, families and friends,
A Canada Safeway store in Coquitlam has selected the Autism Society to be its charity of choice for 2008. Their programme runs for a three month period from mid-January to mid-March.
There are three events that Safeway would like some volenteer support at: the first one is January 26 (Sat) so if you can donate a few hours of your time to help out that would be great.
If you would like to help out please call the ASBC office at 604-434-0880 and leave your name and phone number and we will get back to you with the details or you can e-mail info@autismbc.ca
Thanks, Michael Lewis

We are fairly new to ABA and we are in the process of hiring a new therapist and would like something "official" to hand out. Thank you in advance!
