I am wanting to go into the Surrey school system by September 2014, the reason I posted this early is because I know a lot of parents like the person going to school with their child to work in home sessions too, and I also want to get a bond with the child I am 20 years old this next month, and I have been working with kids with autism since I was 19 I absolutely love it. As of now and until September 2014 most likely I am only available in the mornings and till 3 a few days a week. So the child would have to be in preschool for another year and start Kindergarten in September. I am still reaching my 1000 hours. I am currently in university and going to study Kinesiology and wanting to become an OT.

Seeking experienced individual to work with young adult male with
autism. Afternoon training shifts to start as soon as possible with
full day shift scheduled in the summer plus 2 x afternoon (4-7pm)
shifts. This is an ongoing position, not a summer job, minimum 1 year commitment required.
Home program focuses on social skills training, life skills training,
fitness and community participation with a focus on obtaining
employment. Experience working on a home-based ABA program is
preferred. Training for individualized home program is provided and
supervised by Dr. Sara White.
