July 17, 2013 at 4:57 pm #8327Dione CostanzoParticipantHi everyone
Due to holidays we are leaving our survey up for a few more days please take a few moments if you haven't already to complete it and help us plan:
The ABA Support Network is planning a one day workshop to take place this fall in the lower mainland. This workshop will be open to all parents and professionals and the goal will be to educate attendees on the current state of ABA in BC schools and how to move forward with implementing ABA programs, district by district.
This is NOT a registration page – we need to know how many people would attend this workshop so that we can confirm a location.
Please fill out the following questionnaire which will assist us in planning this event.

July 15, 2013 at 6:18 pm #8330Kim KirschParticipantFall SSW Position available
Posted on behalf of a familyOne of our Vancouver families is seeking an experienced ABA therapist / BI to recommend to the School District as a Student Support Worker (SSW) for their 11 year old son who has been in a Lovaas ABA program for the past 8 years. This person should expect to be involved in the familys home ABA team and attend their monthly team meetings. This is a good opportunity to work with an experienced, positive and supportive family, team and consultant. The home team is happy to provide as much support as needed and would like to have a collaborative relationship in and out of school. From now until September, the family would like the ABA therapist to work part time in order to become familiarised with their sons program and establish a working relationship with the child and his ABA home support team.
If you are interested and would like more information, please reply to vancouveraba123@gmail.com with a description of your experience and/or a CV/resume as soon as possible. Thank you.
