2011 Mudhoney Bike Frame with Banana seat (allowing for recumbent positioning). Brakes hooked up to high back spoiler bar. Has BMX wide handlebars. Heavy-duty training wheel frame supports large, sturdy scooter wheels for extra stability. This was used for an Autistic child who had difficulty with balance, but he has since outgrown it. Work will include following tasks and programs as outlined by the behaviour consultant for academic, social skills, and functional life skills.
You must be able to work at least 2, 2 hour sessions per week. We are looking for someone who is available either Monday, Thursday, and Friday for after school hours. We are located in the Newton area of Surrey.
Applicants with child experience are encouraged to apply. This is a great experience for those wanting to work in the field of behaviour analysis, education, and psychology. Successful candidates need to be motivated, eager and quick to learn. We want interventionists who will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and be able to accept and implement feedback accordingly. You must be able to make at least a 1 year commitment, be at least 19 years of age, and be extremely proficient in the English language and be willing to complete a criminal record check.

The program is now run outside in the community, so any potential tutor will have to have a vehicle. The ideal candidate will have experience working with teens on social skills and anxiety with ABA training. We're looking for someone who is able to run 1 or 2 sessions at 1.5 hours each per week and attend all scheduled team meetings. Hourly wage will be based on level of experience and education. We are looking for the right candidate to work with our 7 year old son as his full time aide in the private school he attends in Richmond. The right candidate would ideally have some ABA experience but it is not a requirement. We do request that you have experience working with children on the autism spectrum over the age 6. Experience working in a school is an asset, as is a strong sense of humour and a willingness to work as part of a team. Extensive training will be provided.
The position is 7 hours per day 5 days per week for a total of 35 hours. This is a salaried position with a competitive rate of pay and the option of a benefits package. The position would be set to commence in December 2013.
