    We are looking for 1-2 BI’s to implement a home-based program, working with a fun & inquisitive 6-yr old boy. Current program focus is on: communication, academic literacy, play & leisure skills and social skills.

    Job Description:

    Looking to hire 1 – 2 BIs for our ABA program to work with a happy and fun 4-year-old girl. Board-certified behaviour consultants Christine Eadon and Claire Egan will provide training. Sessions will run in a daycare located in the Newton area, with team meetings occurring once per month in South Surrey.
    We are looking to fill two separate positions. The first position will be 1 – 3 ABA sessions per week with each session being 3 hours long. The second position will be approximately 5 hours per day, 5 days per week and will be a combination of 1:1 ABA program work as well as participation in daycare activities.
    These positions could possible lead to an ABA-SW position.
    Pay rate will depend on experience.

    We are looking for a behavior interventionist to work with our 6 year old son in our Surrey home.  The hours we are looking for are Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday afternoons (3-4:30pm) and Saturday  mornings (between 9:30-11am).

    Location: East Newton, 152<sup>nd</sup> and 72<sup>nd</sup> area.

    – We would like if our candidates to have some BI back ground experience, but not mandatory.

    Live-In Caregiver – Victoria

    We are seeking a mature female companion and care provider to move into a two-bedroom suite located in Oak Bay (Victoria) and provide support to a healthy, active, and sociable 23-year-old woman who has ASD and intellectual disabilities. The young woman loves Michael Bublé and going for tea, swims like a mermaid, and will beat anyone at Go Fish! She has been in an ABA program since the age of three, has a general happy disposition,  and does not engage in severe non-compliant or injurious behaviours towards self or others.

    Applicant requirements and responsibilities:

    • Must be a team player and open to working collaboratively as part of the young woman’s support network maintaining communication with parents and day program staff.
    • Is willing to learn and adhere to the young woman’s behaviour plan and programs.
    • Is a non-smoker, health conscious, in good health, leads an active life style. A love of the outdoors is a plus.
    • Is neat, tidy, clean, well-organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in household chores.
    • Will mentor the young woman in community activities.
    • Has previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities – a background in education, psychology, or medical fields an asset.
    • Able to obtain a clear Criminal Record check, First Aid certification, and CPR endorse-ment.
    • Has a current driver’s license and preferably owns vehicle.

    The young woman attends a community inclusion day program from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday, and often spends Saturdays and/or Sundays with her family.  The starting date is flexible – ideally within the next 10 months. Remuneration is a contracted monthly amount plus subsidized accommodation costs. For the right applicant, the remuneration will be negotiable and substantial.

    Hello all!
     
    We are looking for a fun and energetic individual who loves to work with young children for the role of Behavioural Interventionist. This BI will provide ABA focussed treatment support for our high-functioning ASD 5 years old son in areas where our son needs special attention.
     
    If you are currently studying in the fields of education, speech and language pathology, nursing, or psychology and love to work with children, this position will give you experience in working with kids with special needs and in working within a multidisciplinary team. Training and guidance will be provided by Kim Kirsch, BCBA as well as additional support as needed from our Occupational Therapist.
     
    This is a permanent part-time position starting at a minimum of 2-4 hours per week with potential for additional hours to be added later. We may be looking at some one-on-one home based shifts based out of the Brentwood area. Postition starts ASAP with specific working hours to-be-determinded (some flexibility).
     
    Focussed Treatment primarily in areas of:
    – Social Behaviour
    – Problem Behaviour and Self-Regulation
    – Focus and Instruction Following
