An outstanding opportunity to work in the field of ABA and behaviour intervention with youth diagnosed with autism:
We are looking for male BI's to join our well established ABA team in a residential teaching home under the supervision of Behaviour Consultant, Sharon Baxter, BCBA. The teaching home is located in North Vancouver, casual and part-time positions are available.
The program focuses on teaching communication skills, life/ leisure skills & community based instruction. Prior ABA experience and/or experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges preferred, but not required. Good organizational skills/ leadership qualities would be helpful.
Criminal record check / class 4 drivers license required.

The position will be full time school hours and you must meet the hiring criteria of the Surrey School District and be willing to work towards achieving the required 1000 hours of ABA experience. You must also be available to join our home ABA therapy team for training and relationship building under the supervision of our BCBA Consultant over the summer. We are looking for a commitment of at least 2 years. The right candidate will be responsible, have the ability to work with our son both in the classroom setting and independently in other settings within the school. We are looking for one more behavior interventionist to join our well established, awesome team! Experience with ABA would be considered an asset however, if you are the right person, we are prepared to provide the training necessary to have you become a valuable member of our team.
Our five year old daughter is bright, sociable, energetic, and loves to learn. Her ABA program has been up and running for three years now and we have seen great and exciting progress!
We work under the guidance of Michele Shilvock with Harmony House. Our daughter attends Harmony House preschool two mornings a week under their directive and also attends a local preschool two days a week.
Initial training will be provided by team members and monthly overlap sessions will be scheduled with a senior BI and consultant to ensure programs are running smoothly.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: running sessions on your own, attending monthly team meetings, attending overlap sessions with our consultant, and data recording.
You should be FUN, responsible, dedicated, and creative! You must have strong play skills, a positive attitude, and LOTS of energy and patience. You are a good multitasker, are organized, enthusiastic and responsible.
A current criminal record check and references will be required. Salary will be negotiable based on experience and performance.
We live in Ladner, two minutes through the tunnel. We currently have openings various days of the week and mostly in the afternoon.

We are looking for a fun & energetic BI to implement a home-based behaviour intervention program, working with a high-functioning 10-yr old boy with a diagnosis of Aspergers syndrome. His program is heavily focused on social & self-management skills.
Training and supervision will be provided by Sarah Dungait, BCBA during overlaps and monthly team meetings.
We are looking for someone to cover 2x after-school sessions per week. Sessions last 2-2.5hrs.
Compensation will be based on experience.

Work will include following tasks and programs as outlined by the behaviour consultant for academic and social skills. All training will be provided by a Board Certified Behavior Consultant.
You must be able to work at least 2-3 evenings per week from 5:30pm 8:30pm (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) and be available for a monthly team meeting on a Thursday. We are located in North Burnaby.
Applicants with child experience are encouraged to apply. This is a great experience for those wanting to work in the field of behaviour analysis, education, and psychology. Successful candidates need to be motivated, eager and quick to learn. We want interventionists who will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and be able to accept and implement feedback accordingly. You must be able to make at least a 1 year commitment, be at least 19 years of age, and be extremely proficient in the English language and be willing to complete a criminal record check.
