Work will include following tasks and programs as outlined by the behaviour consultant for academic and social skills. All training will be provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
You must be able to work 2-3 sessions/week Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays after 3 or Monday and Wednesdays after 5. We are located in Surrey, Clayton Heights area.
Applicants with child experience are encouraged to apply. This is a great experience for those wanting to work in the field of behaviour analysis, education, and psychology. Successful candidates need to be motivated, eager and quick to learn. We want interventionists who will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and be able to accept and implement feedback accordingly. You must be able to make at least a 1 year commitment, be at least 19 years of age, and be extremely proficient in the English language and be willing to complete a criminal record check.

We are looking for an energetic Behaviour Interventionist (BI) to work with our cheerful and friendly child in our well-established ABA home team. There is potential for this position to lead into a full-time EA position with our child at a private school in the Lower Mainland.
The successful applicant would receive training immediately in our home under the supervision of our Team Lead Instructor, current EA, and BCBA-D (Dr. Sara White).
Previous ABA experience, EA/Support Worker experience, and/or experience working in a school environment or ABA home team are an asset.
Hourly wage will depend on background and experience. Annual increases will be considered.
Compensation for the potential EA position will be competitive and include benefits (in accordance with an employment agreement with the school).

The student is a 22 year old male diagnosed with autism and mitochondrial disease. He has been in an home based ABA program since the age of 3 years old.
This student's program is run by Arcus Community Resources, out of his family home. The program focuses on communication, leisure, self-help and self-management skills in his home and in the community. The student demonstrates aggression and self-injury.
We require a one year commitment.
The successful candidate will be required to use their own vehicle for community outings.
