JOB OPPORTUNITY- FULL TIME ABA TUTORING FOR SEPTEMBER 2006
We are looking for a full time ABA tutor for September 2006 for our son, who is an 8 ½ year-old boy entering Grade 3 in September. He is a big achiever and has a very happy and peaceful nature. He is intelligent, verbal and supported and loved by his family, tutors and friends. Hes very sensitive, smart and affectionate.
Qualifications/Requirements
Clear understanding of ABA principles.
Experience with using ABA in school is preferred trained under a recognized consultant.
Positive, caring attitude, as well as being a team player.
Willing to learn and be flexible in their job schedule.
Patient and energetic.
Have the Ability to work in one-on-one situations in school-environment as well as actively participate in facilitating peer relationships.
Able to focus closely on social situations, special attention being given to break times.
Assisting him in peer group birthday parties.
One year commitment as of September 2006.
Introductory meetings take place by July 2006 to facilitate bonding with the child.
Work with our child for at least 4 hours per week after school.
Attending local workshops and team meetings.
Having the ability and willingness to implement IEP and strategies to assist our child, as directed and developed by our Home Consultant.
Will record and monitor data according to scripted data collection procedures.
Criminal record check is mandatory.Applicants under consideration will have the opportunity to get the proper training before September 2006, provided by our Home Consultant.

We need a fantastic new lead therapist!Our almost-four year old daughter is *very* verbal, affectionate, and fun. Mild on the spectrum, she has been in a home-based aba therapy for over a year and a half. Her progress is fascinating and swift, and the rest of our team is commited and strong.
We live in central Vancouver near Main and Broadway.
Applicants need to have had experience being a lead,
be able to commit to two, 3-hour-shifts a week, attend bi-weekly team progress meetings on Tuesday evenings, periodic workshops, and also be committed to the team for at least one year.Salary is negotiable based on experience.
