THERAPISTS NEEDED ! Maple Ridge
Positions are available on our team to provide ABA therapy for our 2 1/2 yr old son. He's a real cutie pie and a happy fellow.
Experience would be great but not necessary as training will be provided. Our consultant is Michele Fagan.
We need people who are motivated, love working with children and want to make a difference in our little boy's life.
Rate of pay will depend on experience. Hours are between 4 and 15 hours/week.
Minimum 6 month commitment (prefer one year). Start date beginning of July.
Anyone interested please email me at gsspence@shaw.caMay 24, 2006 at 11:12 pm #9310Pam BrowneMemberWanting to hire someone to teach an early music program to my 4 children (one with autism). The program should include singing dancing and small instrument introduction. If you have experience with music and a background in aba please contact Pam at pammybrowne@hotmail.com.
The program should run once a week for 1 hour and you should be able to forward a ruff outline of what you expect to offer along with cost expectations.
We live in Langley City and the children range in age from 4 – 7 years old.

Have you tried those 'hop balls' you can inflate them and they have a handle and the kids jump along/bounce on them – my son loved his (still does – we bought a bigger size one later one) You can get them a toyrus or Zellers – under 20.00.

May 24, 2006 at 5:50 pm #9312Cathy FitzhughParticipantHi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had a *mini-trampoline* that
they were not using anymore. We need one for my four year old
daughter to use. She needs more physical outlets for
inside the house and loves to bounce and rock.
Our neighbours have an inner tube and loves to
sit and bounce on that. Also, had anyone else found any other theraputic
toy/object that works in this manner? Thanks So Much,

Experienced in-line therapists needed to join our great team. Our son is 5 years old with mild autism. The team is doing great but one of us will be leaving very soon and another taking fewer hours.
My son is a fun-loving boy, he has very good visual, spatial abilities and is a quick learner. He is verbal, has good attention span and is great at imitation. He also likes reading books.
The required therapists will take two or three shifts a week, one of them might be on the weekend. Shifts are generally 3 hours in length. A minimum of six months commitment is required due to extensive training. We also have team meetings every two weeks. Pay is negotiable depending on experience
Desirable candidates must be energetic, motivated, professional, patient, good with playing kids; some knowledge in related fields such as psychology, education, etc.; some experience working with young children. ABA experience is essential, although we will provide some training. Our consultant is Michelle Auton.
We leave in Burnaby near the mall and Sky train.
