Therapist/Line Worker needed to work with our bright and fun-loving 9-year-old son in Chilliwack. We are in the process of implementing a home run intervention program, and the job consists of 2 hours per day, 5 days per week, plus twice monthly team meetings to compile and review data. Hours are flexible (outside of school of course). Experience not necessary, but an asset – training provided.

ABA Therapist NEEDED in Coquitlam (Cape-Horn area, 2 mins to the #1 Fwy)

We are looking for a tutor/instructor to work with an 3 1/2 years old boy with autism.
He has been in a program for 1 year and continues to make strides. Our consultant is Hoa Chan.

Individuals studying psychology, behavior modification or early childhood would be preferred but not necessary.
We are looking for a minimum 6 month commitment and training is provided.

** ABA SWAP MEET NEXT SATURDAY, JUNE 3rd **

Just a reminder to all that this event will be going ahead next week. Are you a parent, consultant, or therapist looking for programme stimuli or fresh reinforcers? If so, the North Shore ABA SWAP is probably for you!

Date: Saturday, June 3, 2006
Time: 10 a.m. – 12 noon
Location: St. David's Church in West Vancouver (conveniently located at the intersection of the Upper Levels Highway (Hwy #1) and Taylor Way.

We will also have a table of resource materials from the Autism Society's library, available for review.

Protocol:
1. Parents, families or teams may sell or donate ABA-related items. We can't assume any responsibility for items brought to the SWAP by you or on your behalf.

2. Anyone selling or donating items must bring them to the Church themselves and must remove unclaimed or unsold items at the end of the event.

3. Tables are available if we give advance notice – please e-mail to andreafinch@shaw.ca or to eva@evaleeassociates.com to request one

4. If you wish to set up before 10:00, please let us know ahead of time.

We expect this will be not only a useful spot to find ABA-tested materials, but also a fun morning to network with other parents and consultants! Looking forward to seeing you there!

Experienced therapist/tutor needed to work with a high functioning 11 year-old boy in the UBC area. This position would best suit a senior/lead therapist, as they would be working as a team of one (under the supervision of the consultant). This position will begin training in July, leading to 3 days per week (2 hours per session)in September.

Positions are available on our team to provide ABA therapy for our 2 1/2 yr old son. He's a real cutie pie and a happy fellow.
Experience would be great but not necessary as training will be provided. Our consultant is Michele Fagan.
We need people who are motivated, love working with children and want to make a difference in our little boy's life.
Rate of pay will depend on experience. Hours are between 4 and 15 hours/week.
Minimum 6 month commitment (prefer one year). Start date beginning of July.
