October 22, 2006 at 4:21 pm #9565Sheila HotraMember*****PLAYDATES***** – Port Coquitlam Area
Looking for an ABA tutor/therapist that would be interested in running structured playdates with my son and a typical classmate once a week, or even every two weeks on a regular basis.
We are in the midst of training up 2 new therapists, so our senior is busy with training and trying to keep other programs afloat. So our playdates unfortunately have fallen by the waist side.
Looking for someone that is fun, energetic, creative and loves to play.
If this interests you or for more information, please email me at shotra@shaw.ca or call Sheila at 604-552-3810.
Thanks,
SheilaOctober 22, 2006 at 2:15 am #9566Nancy WaltonParticipantNeed a little VACATION?
Live in the Comox Valley (or near) or in Penticton area???
We have relatives in the Comox Valley and like to vacation in Penticton, but can't afford hotel costs due to high costs of running an ABA program at home.
We are looking for a family who would like to house swap for weekends or full week vacations. We live in White Rock, 4 blocks from the beach, in a large 5 bedroom house. Sit in the hot tub while the kids play in the fenced in back yard on the trampoline, swing set or play house. Very safe cul-de-sac neighbourhood. Bring your therapist/respite worker, or see if one of ours is available.
We don't need much in the Comox Valley as we would be visiting relatives, but would like a house with a pool, or a pool nearby, if it is in Penticton.
We did a house swap for our family reunion in Colorado (with another autism family) and it was a fantastic experience. Hope to hear from you,
Nancy Walton
