Just to make some clarifications, I live in Coquitlam and I use the transit system, I don't mind commuting to as far as North or West Vancouver. I dont know If I was clear in my first message (I'm very new to this) but I don't have a PhD I'm working my way up to one, I'm in my second year of psychology in SFU.

Hi, everyone, my name is Shiva Manavipour and I'm a psychology student at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby. I am in my second year and I'm working my way up to a PhD in psychology, I would love to pick up some experience and knowledge in working with children with autism. I have no experience in the field but I love children and I'm great with them, I'm very energetic, motivated, and I'm a quick learner. South Surrey ASBC Group Meeting Thursday 16th November 7pm to 9pm
We welcome Michelle Shilvock, a local ABA Consultant to give an engaging 45 minute presentation on Social Skills groups. Michelles talk will cover social skills groups for both preschool and school age children. She has had great success in these areas and looks forward to sharing her experience.

We are looking for a tutor/instructor to work with a 4 years old boy with autism. He has been in a program for 1 & 1/2 year and continues to make strides.
Individuals studying psychology, behavior modification or early childhood would be preferred but not necessary. We are looking for a minimum 6 month commitment and training is provided.

Hi everyone! I'm super new at this but my 3 1/2 your old son was just diagnosed with very high functioning autism. I am starting the whole assessment/intervention process next week and upon their recommendations, will be looking to create a team of experienced interventionists. All interventionists would be asked to go through the three day promising packages training offered through CBI consultants. ABA JOB POSITION AVAILABLE- on our home-based ABA team with our wonderful 8 year old girl.
Experience is an asset, but not a requirement.If you are bright, compassionate, committed, and have good play skills, this is your opportunity to learn the Dr. Lovaas ABA technique and Verbal Behaviour approach in teaching children with autism. We ask you to commit about 9 hours per week (3 working shifts, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday preferably) for a minimum of six months and to attend bi-monthly team meetings.
We are located in North Surrey, walking distance from a bus stop on 104Ave and 144St.
We are looking for therapists to work with a smart and fun 6 yr old boy. If you have no experience, that's OK. We will train you. If you know anybody who works around WhiteRock area and has extra time to run sessions, pls let us know.
