SEA Position available for the 2007 school year -North Shore

Experienced school based Lovaas-style ABA therapist required for a 9 year old boy with HFA/AS/Learning Disability, entering grade 5 next September. Highly advanced programming, primarily in a naturalized format with an emphasis on academics. Social skills and executive functioning are also components of his program.

Polished, accurate timely data collection is imperative. The ability to multitask, effectively convey academic principles, conduct on the spot task analyses and F.•••• and work independently and cooperatively is imperative. Training will begin immediately, and two day-time shifts per week are requied (during school hours).

Program under the direction of Shelley Davis. Kelley Lloyed-Jones is our Senior Therapist.

Our current lead therapist who has been with us for more than 3.5 years is planning to leave our team for a full time job. We're looking for a lead therapist or a therapist with ABA exeperiences who wants to become our home team leader. If you're energetic and can commit at least 2 sessions per week plus bi-weekly team meeting, please contact me with your resume , wage expectation and availability. We're willing to train the right person, and you'll get enough training from our current team leader until you feel that you're ready to take over her position. I am the parent of a 4 year old boy, recently diagnosed as autistic.

I am looking for several line therapists to build our ABA team (Lovaas method). Must be bright, energetic and patient and available to work 3 or 4 2-hours shifts per week in the Surrey/Newton area. I am looking for commitment to attend monthly workshops/meetings and work with us for 1 year.

We are in need of experienced line therapists willing to work Mon/Thursday after school and/or Saturdays with our high functioning 7 year old daughter.
