Hi there!
I am writing for my sister-in-law and brother who have recently received the final assessment on their 4 year old son. He has austism spectrum disorder and is in need of a Behavioural Consultant. They are overwhelmed by the list of names given to them by the in – take worker and are looking for recommendations from parents on who would be good (and hopefully available) as a consultant.
Any thoughts, feedback, ideas would be greatly appreciated.
blessings, Jen Cunnings

My name is Chelsea and I am interested in working as a Behavioural Interventionist.
I have some knowledge of ABA and am familiar with many of the techniques used. I am now looking to gain hands-on ABA experience on a home team. I am willing to commit long-term as I will be graduating high school in June and plan to continue working in this field.
I have a fairly open school schedule so I will have availability during the day as well as after school and weekends. I am interested in working in Surrey, Langley or White Rock.
If you are interested, please contact me at chelseashaver@hotmail.com .
January 31, 2007 at 11:00 pm #9631Frank BuddParticipantBehavior Interventionists needed for Maple Ridge
We are looking to hire 3-4 behavior interventionists to work with our 3 year old autistic son. He is a happy and energetic little boy who loves attention.
We are looking for bright, hard working, energetic interventionists. Applicants must work well on a team, be willing to take feedback and direction from the consultant, and have a current criminal record check.
Experience is an asset, but not a requirement. Our consultants, Dr. Sara White and Michelle Karren will be planning and overseeing the implementation of our therapy program. Michelle will be providing training in Intensive Behavioral Therapy which involves the principles and application of applied behavior analysis. Salary will initially depend on prior experience.
This is a great opportunity for students, who are interested in the field of psychology, education or speech/language pathology. As a member of our team, you will gain IBT training and hands on experience.
We expect you to commit to 2-3 shifts (or more) per week, attend all team meetings and workshops, and maintain professional standards.
If interested, please email assunta@shaw.ca or call 604-466-1648 and ask for Frank or Assunta.

We are increasing our program hours and looking for 2 therapists to join our energetic team and work with our 2.5 year-old son. He is a very funny and social little boy who is bright, verbal, and learns very fast.
We are fortunate to have Liana Maione, a local consultant on board providing intensive supervision to our son's program. She creates all the programs for us and provides ongoing thorough training, so this would be a great opportunity for a therapist who welcomes frequent overlaps and opportunities to further develop his or her skills.
Applicants with early child education or ABA experience are preferred but we WILL consider well motivated and not experienced applicants as well. We have two to four 3-hour shifts available, both morning and afternoon.
You must be dependable and willing to commit to one year at least and minimum of 2 shifts per week and be able to attend biweekly team meetings. Positive attitude is a must.If you are responsible, energetic, fun, creative, and motivated, we would like to hear from you. please e-mail your resume and a cover letter to persianvet@shaw.ca
