Next in the North Shore ASBC Parent Support Group series: ABA and Tax Season: The Basics. This session is for parents, and we are lucky to have ASBC director and fellow parent Michael Lewis available to talk about the essentials you, as a parent running an ABA programme, will need to know come tax time.
Michael will draw on his years of personal experience and while he is not a registered C.A. and does not claim any specific accounting expertise, this talk will be worthwhile for anyone with questions about how to prepare for tax season.
This talk has been well-attended in the past, so please RSVP as usual.
If there is sufficient interest, we may be able to have a speaker following Michael (as he is not making a formal presentation). This speaker would address school-related issues and might be useful for parents who have questions mid-way through the school year, or for those who missed the school talk in the fall. Please let us know in your RSVP whether this additional topic would be of interest to you.
PLEASE NOTE – this month only, due to scheduling restrictions, the lecture is on a Wednesday instead of a Tuesday.
Date: WEDNESDAY, February 28th
Time: 7 -9 p.m.
Location: Peters Room in the West Vancouver Memorial Library, 1950 Marine Drive in West Van. (between 19th and 20th Streets). The library is easily accessible via Highway #1 Upper Levels), taking either the 15th Street or
20th St. exits.Coffee/Tea and snacks provided.
Donations are greatly appreciated. Please RSVP to Andrea at andreafinch@shaw.ca or to Eva at 604-218-3298.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
Cheers,

We are increasing our program hours and looking for 2 therapists to join our energetic team and work with our 2.5 year-old son. He is a very funny and social little boy who is bright, verbal, and learns very fast.
Our consultant is Liana Maione. She is local and creates all the programs for us and provides ongoing supervision and training, so this would be a great opportunity for therapists who welcome frequent overlaps and opportunities to further develop their skills.
Applicants with early child education or ABA experience are preferred but we WILL consider well motivated and not experienced applicants as well. We have two to four 3-hour shifts available, both morning and afternoon. Salary is negotiable and we pay for public transit costs.
You must be dependable and willing to commit to one year at least and minimum of 2 shifts per week and be able to attend biweekly team meetings. Applicants should be open to feedback/criticism and positive attitude is a must.
If you are responsible, energetic, fun, creative, and motivated, we would like to hear from you. please e-mail your resume and a cover letter to persianvet@shaw.ca

Training and Job Requirements:
——————————-
* Training will begin immediately in the home program.
