We are looking for one or two therapists to join our energetic team and work with our son. He is a very funny and social little boy who is bright, verbal, and learns very fast. He'll be three yrs old in July.
Our consultant is Liana Maione. She is local and creates all the programs for us and provides ongoing supervision and training, so this would be a great opportunity for applicants who welcome frequent overlaps and opportunities to further develop their skills.

My availability is on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. I live on UBC campus. I do not have a car, so any location has to be within reasonable distance for busing. I am a current commerce student at UBC, going into my 4th year. I have worked extensively with children in the past in classroom and private tutoring environments. I will be completing behavioral intervention training this week. athena_jackson@hotmail.com

havardsh@telus.netMay 10, 2007 at 4:04 am #9796Elaine RaynaultKeymasterLooking for a Therapist with over 1000 Hours of Experience interested in becoming an SEA
Rowan is 6 years old and going into the 1st grade. He is attending a good school in South Surrey with a supportive principal and teachers and an amazing number of understanding peers who are eager to help. Rowan loves school and is responding very well to his new friends. He is easy going, flexible, cooperative and eager to learn.
What he is missing is an ABA Support worker for the 1st grade. He needs someone who is eager to work with his home team and consultant to integrate his learning into his classroom. It is especially critical for this coming year because he will be attending a full day of school. He is an easy child to work with, and because of this he can easily be "babysat" by an aid who isn't ABA qualified. Please help him get the most out of his learning experience and don't let the 1st grade become the end of his early intervention. If you are interested or have considered becoming an SEA in the Surrey school district, please contact me so we can talk about options. Thank you in advance and I look forward to hearing from you!
