We are very flexible in terms of time offering.
We live in the middle of Renfrew and Rupert skytrain stations, about 5 minutes walk, very convenient no matter you depend on public transit or drive.

Thank you ,
TrinhMay 25, 2007 at 2:16 am #9779Shilpa Raju KakarlapudiMemberHi my name is Shilpa Raju Kakarlapudi. I am a 3rd year Psychology Student, at Simon Fraser University. I am a very enthusiastic and hardworking individual who really enjoys working with children. Although I do not have any experience with supporting people with autism, I have had some prior experience of working with children. I have headed and participated in a number of voluntary programs, ranging from teaching English to school children to working with a doctor to take care of childrens health and general well being. I am taking two classes for summer at the university and have no other commitments, so I have a very flexible Schedule. I am free every weekend and also after 5 pm every day of the week, as well as some mornings. I would really appreciate the opportunity.
i have to take public transport so i would prefer to work in Burnaby, Coquitlam or anywhere that is within a reasonable distance to a skytrain.
you can reach me at skakarla@sfu.ca or at 778 928 4699. Thank you
May 22, 2007 at 6:32 pm #9780Dorothy RayMemberSummer's almost here, therapist schedules have changed once again, and we find ourselves short a therapist for the summer and possibly beyond. Our son is turning six this summer, is very high-functioning with a mild language delay, and has a fabulous sense of humour and sunny, boisterous personality. He needs someone enthusiastic, warm and fun to keep him learning (which he does very quickly when motivated by his wonderful therapists!).
We are looking for someone who can commit until at least the end of August, and possibly beyond, who is available to work on Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Fridays, for two x 2 or 2.5 hour shifts per week, after 12:00 (he has kindergarten every morning until the end of June). We prefer shifts that fall between 12:00 and 4:00, but times are somewhat negotiable.
We live in the Guildford area of Surrey just off of 108th Ave. which is easily accessible by either car or bus. As this might end up being just a summer position, we would be interested in someone whith previous ABA therapist training or experience, but what really matters is a fun, exuberant personality – we can always train the right person!
To contact us, please email Dorothy at roganddot@shaw.ca . If you have a resume that you can email as well, that would be appreciated.
Thanks! Dorothy Roy
