***LOOKING TO VOLUNTEER WITH AN AUTISTIC CHILD***
I'm looking to spend 2-3 hours a week, ongoing for a few years volunteering with an autistic child in a recreational setting. I'm a psychology major at UBC and would prefer to work with a family living in or close to port coquitlam. I've worked as a lifeguard and swimming instructor for the city of coquitlam and vancouver and have a background in aquatics and leisure. I'm willing to provide one on one swimming lessons or assist in other recreational activities. I would also love to receive any additional training that would assist me in working with your child.
Please contact me at elisa88@hotmail.com if you are interested!

June 19, 2007 at 5:53 pm #9849Deleted UserMemberLooking to hire a full team for a well establish ABA program in the Victoria area come August as my family will be moving there from Vancouver. We are unsure exactly where in Victoria we may be, but just putting this out there to get some ideas of where all the therapists and potential therapists live. My son is 7yrs old and has had great success with his program for the past 3yrs. He is fairly high functioning with speech that has come in the last year. Looking for people with enthusiasm and great passion in wanting to help my son continue to grow. Wages dependent on experience.
