We are looking for someone who can work minimum 2x 3-hour shifts/week and can commit for at least one year and have a current criminal record check and good refrences from other families. The candidates who successfully complete the screening process, will be provided with sufficient hours of PAID TRAINING.

LOOKING FOR THERAPISTS FOR NEW BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY TEAM

NEW WESTMINSTER – STARTING SEPTEMBER 2007

We are looking for therapists to join our energetic team and work with our son. He is a very funny and social little boy who is bright, verbal, and learns very fast. He'll be four years old in October and has been recently diagnosed with high functioning autism.

Our consultant, Michele Shilvock, is local and will be creating all the programs for us and providing ongoing supervision and training, so this would be a great opportunity for applicants who welcome frequent overlaps and opportunities to further develop their skills. The program is in-home behavioral therapy and will be based on the Lovaas method of positive reinforcement.

Applicants with early child education or ABA experience are preferred but we WILL also consider well motivated and not experienced applicants as well. We have eight 3-hours shifts available, both morning and afternoon. Salary is negotiable and based on experience.

You must be dependable and willing to commit to one year at least and minimum of 2-3 shifts per week and be able to attend biweekly team meetings.

LOOKING FOR A LEAD & LINE THERAPISTS TO WORK IN THE SURREY/NORTH DELTA-PANORAMA AREA

We are looking for an experienced therapist (lead and line) to join our team. Therapist must be willing to work 1-2 shifts a week, as well as attend team meetings twice a month. Our ABA therapist is a registered psychologist. We also work with an occupational therapist and speech therapist. This is great training ground for beginning therapists!

Therapists must be at least 19 years of age, have their own vehicle and be willing to undergo a criminal record check.

ABA line and Senior Therapist needed in the Guildford Area.

We are looking for a senior and a line therapist to work with a five year old boy with autism who started behavioural therapy in December '06. Shifts are somewhat flexible. Experience is preferable but not necessary as training can be provided. In-home behavioural therapy is based on the Lovaas method of positive reinforcement and the team works under the guidance of consultant Michele Fagan.

Our Behavioural Consultant is Ms. Hoa Chan MA, BCBA of Tiny Talkers Autism Services.

The minimum requirements are:

***at least 19 yrs. old
***college/university student or graduate major in Psychology, Behavioural Science, ECE-Special Needs or in medical field
***must be patient, caring, funny, fast learner, honest and loves children esp. with ASD
***must have criminal record check
***can commit at least 6 months in our team
***must attend monthly and bi-monthly team meeting

Hi everyone. I am a liscensed ECE teacher that has been working in the field for the last 5 years. I have lots of experience working with children, and within that a lot of experience with children with extra needs (autism included) I do not have experience with ABA therapy but am a quick learner and am very interested. I am actually enrolled for Sept in the Behaviour Interventionist program at Douglas College.

I am looking to work with a child/children in the Burnaby/New Westminster/East Vancouver area as that is what's close to home.
