ABA THERAPIST NEEDED IN NORTH BURNABY
Our team is guided by local consultant Kim Kirsch from EAP. Our 5 year old daughter was diagnosed with ASD last spring and is extremely high functioning and delightful, with rapidly developing social skills. She is very playful and enthusiastic. Her program includes peer play and community outings. The program is progressing rapidly and we need one more therapist to round out our team. You must be available for 6 to 9 hours therapy time per week, plus team meetings every second Thursday. Training will be provided. Wages are negotiable depending on experience. We are very close to transit.
LEAD THERAPIST NEEDED in North Burnaby
Our lead therapist will be taking a leave in mid September and we need someone who is willing and able to fill the void for five or six months. Our program has been going strong for just over one year and our 5 year old daughter is doing really well. She is entering Kindergarten in the fall and we need someone to lead our team to help her with the transition.
Experience as a lead therapist would be preferred but we are willing to consider someone who has extensive ABA experience as a line therapist who is ready to make the jump to lead our team. Training will be provided. Our consultant is Kim Kirsch from Early Autism Project. Wages are negotiable depending on experience.
Please contact brianmckinley@shaw.ca

Seeking a playful, fun-loving, therapist to join our fantastic White Rock area team. Our 4 year-old son is fun-loving, bright, verbal, and enthusiastic about his program. He is a fast learner, and has a great sense of humour! We are fortunate to have a local consultant, Liana Maione, providing an intensive model of supervision to our son's program, so this would be a great opportunity for a therapist who welcomes frequent overlaps and opportunities to further develop his or her skills, as well as for someone new, who is dynamic, energetic, and eager to learn new skills.
We currently have openings on either Friday morning (8 11) or later afternoon (4 7), and Saturdays, (8 11, or 12 3) with potential for shifts opening up on Tuesdays and Thursdays (later morning to early afternoon) in October. Therapists will run 3-hour sessions, with program goals interspersed and included in play activities. Shifts may also include peer sessions or community outings. A solid grasp of the principles of ABA is beneficial, however training will be provided to those that do not have experience, but do have the dedication, commitment and energy to be part of this dynamic team. Mandatory biweekly team meetings are currently scheduled for Wednesday evenings.
You must be at least 19 years old, and willing to submit to a Criminal Record Check. We are looking for a minimum commitment of one year. If interested, please e-mail a resume, references and availability to mummyx2@hotmail.com . Wages will depend on your experience.
